Team Points - Season Three (18/19)

Here is a look at the points accumulated by each team over the course of the third season. You can find the point calculator in one of my earlier posts on this thread. If you have any queries over your team's points, please ask me via Private Message.

Please remember that no team shall be eliminated in either of the first three seasons. So, even if your player gets 0 points in the first few seasons (like mine did this season....), there's no need to worry. This is just a warm up while your players develop some sort of skill.

I'm actually worried about how things are going now, think we could be killed soon!

Announcement

Three years have passed in-game since the beginning of our players' journeys, and a lot has changed in those three years. For the eighteen involved, there has been much to celebrate, and much to mourn. Trophies have been won, promotions have been earned, hardships have been endured. Some have reached stardom already, while others have been quietly going about their business.

No matter what stage your player may be at now, one thing is for certain. The three warm-up seasons are over, and The Hunger Games have begun. Two contestants (one team) will be eliminated each season, until only one team remains. Your player must now use their acquired skills and experiences to bring glory to themselves and their teams. I don't think I need to tell you the significance of each and every performance. From now on, every point matters.

Don't know if it was covered earlier. Are points issued for becoming a clubs favoured personnel?
GleNelG, no I don't think that would really work. I've found that the most unusual of players become favoured personnel for no reason, when the real top performers don't even get on the list. I think it would be unfair on those who don't make it on to the list, when they truly deserve to be there.
Fair enough. I presumed they were added on performance, appearances, loyalty etc. Never really paid attention to the randomness if im honest. No worries.

Player Profiles - January 2020

This is it. The Hunger Games has truly begun. Everything from now on is extremely important for the purposes of this competition. Who will come out on top?

A look at your players' histories to date, including how they're currently performing this season. Some very impressive performances for some, but who has been the best at the halfway mark of the season?

Not looking good for my team is it, a little worried at this point!

UEFA European Championship 2020 Preview

Its a prestigious competition which comes around only once every four years. The top nations from all around Europe come together to compete for the honour of being named the continent's top football nation. Last time, it was Portugal who took the honours, defeating France in Paris in a memorable extra time victory all the way back in 2016. This time, the competition would be played across Europe, with the final to be hosted by London's Wembley Stadium. Who would come out on top?

A total of eight of our players were called up to their nations' squads to compete in this year's tournament. There were representatives of France, Scotland, Serbia, Holland (Yes I know it is The Netherlands, but FM says no!) and Switzerland among us. Our representatives at this competition were as follows:

France: Alexandre Leblanc & Hugo Montgomerie
Holland: Sybe Gillan-van der Putten
Scotland: Ewan Dailly, Thomas Murray & Wayne Kerr
Serbia: Zlatanovic Pogbadinho
Switzerland: Johann Schneider

Group A

Pogbadinho & Schneider Would Face Off In Group A

The first group drew two of our own representatives against one another. Serbia and Zlatanovic Pogbadinho, and Switzerland and Johann Schneider would be competing for qualification from one of the more difficult groups in the competition. It was a group which also contained the powerhouse that was Germany, as well as a very dangerous Austria outfit.

Group B

Reigning Champions Portugal Had An Easy Group

There were none of our players competing in this group. Nininho's country, Portugal, were indeed drawn in to Group B, but the Bradford City winger was not called up, despite an impressive season in Sky Bet League Two.

Group C

France's Alexandre Leblanc & Hugo Montgomerie Were In Group C

Two of our representatives would be playing in Group C. Their team, France, were the favourites to progress, while Belgium would surely provide a stern test. Norway and Ukraine completed the group.

Group D

European Giants Italy Were Handed A Challenging Group

None of our players were put in this group. David Ayolo and Mario Luigi saw their nation, Italy, placed here, but neither player was called up to compete for their country.

Group E

Holland's Sybe Gillan-van der Putten Would Play In Group E

Our very own Sybe Gillan-van der Putten was expected to star for Holland in a challenging group. They would play England, who did not call up John Warrington, as well as Greece and Hungary.

Group F

Ewan Dailly, Thomas Murray & Wayne Kerr All Made The Scotland Squad

Scotland in a major competition?!?!?! You better believe it! Our magnificent trio of Ewan Dailly, Thomas Murray and Wayne Kerr all made the squad and were hoping to qualify from an extremely challenging group which contained Spain, Poland and Russia.

Euro 2020 - The Group Stages

With eight of us battling it out in Europe's elite international competition, many fantastic moments on the football pitch were to be admired. Here is a look at how our teams got on in the group stage of the competition.

Group A

Serbia Progressed Top Of The Group While Switzerland Lost All Three Games

It was a group of mixed emotions for the two participants of ours involved. Zlatanovic Pogbadinho and Serbia enjoyed great success in the group stage, winning twice and drawing the other to progress top of the group, with Germany qualifying in second. For Johann Schneider and Switzerland, their journey was over as they failed to earn a single point.

Group B

Portugal Progressed In Second Place

We had no participants play in this group, although there was a slight stir as Sweden claimed top spot. Portugal advanced in second position, while Denmark moved on as one of the better placed third position teams.

Group C

Leblanc & Montgomerie Advanced With France In Third Place

Our two French strikers, Alexandre Leblanc and Hugo Montgomerie, endured a tough group stage with their country. France won just one game, but that proved to be just enough as they progressed as one of the best placed third position teams. Norway and Ukraine also progressed.

Group D

Italy Qualified In Second Place

We had no participants in this group either. Croatia topped the group while Italy finished second. Turkey qualified in third place, by the skin of their teeth.

Group E

Sybe Gillan-van der Putten & Holland Progressed In Second Place

We had one participant in this group, in the form of Sybe Gillan-van der Putten. He starred for a Holland side that finished second with two wins and a defeat, as England progressed top of the group. Greece qualified from third place.

Group F

Scottish Trio Dailly, Murray & Kerr Starred As Their Side Finished Top

Our Scottish trio of Ewan Dailly, Thomas Murray and Wayne Kerr were in fine form as their country claimed an impressive top spot, with two wins and a draw. Poland claimed the other qualification spot, as Spain and Russia dropped out.

Second Round Draw

Holland Would Play Scotland In The Next Round

As far as our participants were concerned, there were some interesting ties. Alexandre Leblanc and Hugo Montgomerie of France would face Sweden, while Zlatanovic Pogbadinho of Serbia would face Turkey. The big clash was Sybe Gillan-van der Putten and Holland up against Scotland and a trio of Ewan Dailly, Thomas Murray and Wayne Kerr. Who would prevail? How far would our players go? Find out soon!
that Scottish Trifecta are working wonders!
Loving this right now! Massively surprised by the Scots group win. Too late to put money on them to win it?
