Marcel Schmid - The start of our journey in the Champions League ends in a draw. And what can I say it's a brilliant result at such an iconic stadium. 63,000 people is just amazing and I can't wait for the next one!

Marcel Schmid - What a game, everything went as planned. It’s clear that Junuzovic is a very important player for how we play and he can score from anywhere. I’m very happy that he is here and I am sure he will continue to lots of wonderful hat tricks.

Month Review

Could we have done much better? Graz and Wien are strong opposition in this league and we beat them both, that is certainly something to be happy about. The CL was just amazing. Obviously it is my first game in that competition and it really is wonderful.
Excellent set of results, especially against Bayern at the Allianz.

Could not have hoped for much more
Dabbur leaving is a big blow, but hopefully with Haland in your team, can shrug that off

Hopefully someone steps up

Marcel Schmid - We made it 2-0 in 17 minutes vs Plzeň and then the team just got a bit shaky. We are a young bunch, the Champions League is something else and I think we just need to learn how to settle, but we thoroughly deserved the victory in the end.

Linz - 0-0 was fair, no team did enough to get through. It’s disappointing but we will move on to the next game in a few weeks time.

My first loss in charge. It isn't a good feeling, but we have to look at the bigger picture. I thought the team I put out would have enough, I was wrong. Now we have a very important the game in midweek in our hopes for qualification to the next stage.

Marcel Schmid - What a win! We showed courage in that second half to hold on. We have shown that we are very able at this level and I'm pleased to be the one taking the team through this development.
The right thing to do is not get ahead of ourselves. 7 points from 3 games is fantastic but we haven't qualified yet, there is much work to be done

Another perfect performance. The start of the month was the worse for me so far but we have put that behind us and gone to another level with the past two games. The stadium was rocking again today, these supporters are fantastic! :)

Austria L - It is very odd having three home games in a row but we have made the most of it. Today we let some other players feel the atmosphere and they did the job how I'd hoped.

We need to hold onto this feeling for the future, when things don't go as well we need to look at what we have done here that got us through.
A much better ending to the month after a poor start to it, especially in the league. Two victories against Plzen and Atletico will go a long way in aiding your bid to qualify for the knockout stages, in which would be an excellent accomplishment.

Definitely. I am happy to drop some points in the league if we keep this European form up.
A win against the defensive masters Atletico managed by the legendary Diego Simeone at the highest level in the UEFA Champions League. Now that's quality management right there!

I know I know :)
Some big results right there, that win over Atlético will go down in history!

I'll be bringing it up when I want a new contract

Marcel Schmid - We went nearly full strength against Wolfsberger because the boys didn't play in the cup earlier in the week. A strong performance heading into a crucial CL game, which would put us into the position we want.

Well they played how they know best. They got the goals required and then frustrated us and we had no answer for that today. We can take away that we are still in a strong position heading towards the Bayern game! Our full focus is on the next two league games.

Away league games - Away games are always difficult, so I think we handled them fantastically. Especially with the 13 day gap between. Now we have a few days to work on things ready for the big one :)

Super Sub! Even down to 10 men they showed what quality they have and were pretty dominant, but we held in there and gave ourselves a chance to snatch something and late on did exactly that.

We must now concentrate and beat Viktoria Plzeň. If we do our job the other result doesn’t matter so that is what we will focus on over the coming weeks.

They won’t let us win at their ground because they have nothing to play for. We must go out there and play at our best. :)
Some serious results! Doing bits in Salzburg, putting the Energy Drink Franchise team on the map!
