Leao is a monster of a loan signing, one of the best young attackers in football at the minute!
THE CHAMPIONS!!!

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE LAST 16 1st Leg

Marcel Schmid - I think we have to be happy with that. The away goal means we have to go to Rome and score and I believe we can do that.

I believe in this team to put in a performance every week and it will be no different when we go away to a tough stadium.

Cup - We are through to the semis so everyone is very happy:). A good performance and one in which I believe we deserved more than what we got, but all that counts is getting through in the cup and we are one step closer to our ultimate goal!

Sturm Graz - A good way to finish off the month. You can see the quality that Graz have but we just stepped up today and showed why we are where we are.
A really good month of football there, which continues your progression in all three competitions!

Red Bull Salzburg humbled by Austria Wien!

Salzburg manager Marcel Schmid suffers his heaviest defeat as a manager

Marcel Schmid – I don’t know what to say. Those two early goals killed us, and we just looked shocked with no idea what to do to change the game. Then I was hoping we would get to half time at 2-0 but we switched off again and the game was finished.

We owe an apology to the 131 fans who came to watch this, probably the worst performance in my time here. All I can say is we will watch this back to see what happened and adjust in training. We now have a week until the next one so we can put the wrongs right before we face Roma.

Altach – We dropped points in just 1 of our last 8 league games before March, that's 22/24 points.

I wanted to see a reaction from the last match but we didn't get one. A goal just before half time I thought we would push on after and get back to winning ways, but we couldn’t find the net. It’s the back end of the season and we want to win the title, for that to happen we have to do better.

We have possibly the biggest game of our season on Wednesday and the team has to be ready for that one. If we don’t do the simple things right, we will be out.

I’m hoping for a packed Olimpico with a good atmosphere from our away support to help push us on from this position we are at the moment.
Two far from ideal results. Could the players minds have wondered into Wednesday's game? I think so. Let's hope they're switched on for the test of Roma, otherwise things could get embarrassing.
Bad results happen to every good team, its part of football, they all have purple patches and dull ones, so hopefully you can lift the spirits back up, move on, and get some nice wins to see your team back in 1st gear again!

ScottT and BigMaguire - Let's hope it's just a one off (two off) and we don't end up getting thrashed in Rome :(
