Marcel Schmid - It's been a good couple of months we all got to spend time with our families and then get back into it with some tough friendlies. February we stepped it up as we got straight into the CL after the Hoffenheim game so we had to push like it was a competitive fixture.

I think that is a problem, the fixtures aren't beneficial to Austrian clubs in Europe after Christmas can that be changed? I have no idea. We will do what we can in the coming days to get back to the level we left at, thankyou.

Some excellent results, albeit only friendlies, against some decent sides. I can imagine the lack of competitive football isn't ideal going into the Champions League. This may need to be addressed at some point, irl.

The Winter Break not ideal, but at least you can play some friendlies against some top sides and the players can be as fresh as possible

A good set of results to have under your belt in mid-season friendlies. The squad should be ready to go!

ScottT and BigMaguire - I remember a few years ago Dynamo Kiev against Man City, they looked really flat because they went straight in CL after 2 months off from competitive games. Winter break can be a disadvantage to these sides

Transfer Window

Found him as I was just looking at Partizan and Red Star Belgrade for just 3 mil and couldn’t resist. I know we have a lot of centre backs here and out on loan, but this guy could be something special soon.

Zdichynec - The board signed this guy, some of those stats are amazing for his age (18). I will most likely send him to Liefering for some first team football.






He definitely shouldn’t have been playing for the reserves, so I had to make this signing. Wanted to keep the players who are at my club happy and get an impact loan in to fill the gap on the bench.

Hwang Hee-Chan – Made just 11 appearances (mainly off the bench) scored 5 goals but with Napoli’s interest he wanted to leave so I didn’t stop him. He is good but I like to use Prevljak up top.

Adeyemi – Young lad with pace (15 acceleration) and very good finishing (15) and dribbling (16). But, only 2 appearances this season and he will stay in the league so interested to see how he will do.

Håland – I think everyone knows about this guy by now.

I only gave him 6 games ☹ Fiorentina to pay all his wages and we will get over €1m for the loan. Win win I say.

I think we will have to play him next season unless he does amazing at Fiorentina and wants a move.
