If you're going to win the Community Shield that's the best way to do it. Equalise late on against your closest rivals then win on penalties. Quality.

6th August

Nohan Kennah and Ben White join Arsenal for fees of 59m and 47.5m respectively

Defenders Davide Di Giovanni (68m) and Damian Morales (9.5m) join from Atalanta and Man United respectively

A fantastic to start the defence of our Premier League crown with a 3-0 win away at Villa and it was great to see Wallim score two on his debut.

We had to grind it out but our first league game of the season at Goodison Park ended with a superb 1-0 win against Tottenham. We'll need plenty more performances like that if we want to retain our crown.

Last season at Chelsea we were 3-0 down after 30 minutes and lost. After 28 minutes, I was having flashbacks, however, this time we fought back to earn a point with a really good performance. I'll definitely take that point.

27th August

Everton to play Southampton at home in the Carabao Cup 3rd Round

Everton to face Barcelona, Bayer Leverkusen and Shakhtar Donetsk in Champions League group C

An absolutely brilliant performance. We never really looked like we weren't going to win the game and there was nothing Norwich could do, we were relentless.

It's early days but I'm happy to see us sitting 2nd in the league, especially after playing Tottenham and Chelsea already.

Next Month's Fixtures

A good start to the season. Congratulations on securing another piece of silverware. Your European campaign looks to be an interesting one, but I would imagine you'll have enough about you to get through without any problems.

Has to be said, Wallim is off to an absolute flyer. Very encouraging!

Wallim is a beast!

Boy did we earn this victory! With ten minutes to go, it looked like we were heading towards defeat but the lads never gave up and goals from Isaac Pereira and Karl Collier gave us a last-ditch win.

Our Champions League campaign started with a pleasing 1-0 win away at Shakhtar, though we could have easily won by more than one.

An easy win in a game we dominated. Bournemouth looked all at sea and we eased to all three points.

I'm really pleased with this result. We massively changed the side but you never would have guessed as we romped to victory over Southampton. It was great to see Johnny Roche and Ismael Cebolla each netting a hat-trick.

27th September

Everton to travel to Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup 4th Round

A routine victory away at Burnley. The home side never really recovered from seeing Dwight McNeil sent off early on and we cruised to an easy 2-0 win.

A comfortable 4-1 win over Leverkusen made it two wins out of two in the Champions League to put us top of the group by three points. Our next game in Europe is a massive test though as we travel to the Nou Camp.

A perfect September sees us finish the month at the top of the Premier League table. If we continue our current form then we'll be well on our way to retaining our title.

Perfection. A strong start to life in Europe, too. Intrigued to see how you fair!

I'm really pleased with the way we played against Man City. We absolutely dominated them and could have quite easily won by more.

If the Man City result was pleasing, this result was very disappointing. We had some very good chances to win it but didn't take them and ended up drawing 0-0.

We've really arrived on the European stage now. No one gave us a prayer at Barcelona but the lads were magnificent, winning by three goals to nil.

No European hangover for us. A Troy Parrott hat-trick saw us to a very good 4-2 win at home against Leicester.

The fringe players had to battle for it but they safely made it through to the Carabao Cup Quarter-Finals with a great win away at Crystal Palace.

29th October

Everton to play Fulham at home in the Carabao Cup quarter-final

Molineux is usually a difficult place to go so I'm made up that we managed to get the win against Wolves. The lads are playing some superb football at the moment.

Another great Champions League result which sees us confirm our place in the Champions League knockout rounds. If you'd have told me that we'd do the double over Barcelona, I'd have said you were mad.

We scored early on against Southampton and dominated the game from there. I was disappointed that we only scored the one but the three points are the main thing, especially with the league being so tight.

18th November

Well, this could be interesting if the takeover goes ahead.

Our worst performance of the season and we were incredibly lucky to escape with a point. Not good enough and improvement is needed next time out.

With us having already qualified, I decided to give the fringe players a go. What I got from them was extraordinary as they smashed Shakhtar by five goals to nil to confirm ou place at the top of Group C.

OUT OF JAIL! We went down to nine men and it looked like Sheffield United had grabbed an unlikely point when they scored with seventeen minutes to go. However, luckily for us, Wallim popped up with two minutes to go with a penalty to give us all three points.

We're still top but my word is it close at the moment. Our next game against Man United is an absolutely massive one that could be a pivotal moment in the title race.

December 2026

1st December

Alexis Garza out for 3 weeks with a twisted ankle

Manuel Gasparini you absolute hero. Man United were all over for us from the start but we were able to take our chances and Manuel kept them out at the other end. A vital three points.

We were woeful in front of goal and it wasn't pretty but we did what we had to do to get the win and all three points, job done.

A fantastic way to round off the group stages of our first ever Champions League group stage appearance. Six wins out of six and a + 20 goal difference, can't argue with that.

There's nothing better than getting one over on the team that cast me aside as a player. A great win.

12th December

Theo Lebrun out for 3 weeks with sprained ankle ligaments

14th December

Everton to play Lyon in the Champions League First Knockout Round

We left it much later than I wanted but our fringe players eventually got the job done against Championship side Fulham. Hopefully, we can go one step further this season and reach the final.

17th December

Everton to play West Ham in the Carabao Cup Semi-Finals

18th December

I went back to see how my old club was doing. Unfortunately, Warrington are now in League One, though they are 2nd. I'm delighted and honoured to say that they named their new stadium after me. I can't quite believe that!

An absolutely superb result. To win by six goals to nil is a massive achievement but to do so away from home is quite simply remarkable. The confidence levels of the lads are through the roof at the minute.

Another good result for us against Arsenal. We dominated the game and more than deserved our 2-0 win.

Much like the Brighton game earlier in the month, we scored early then did what we had to do to secure the win and all three points.

I could not have asked for a more perfect month! We now sit ten points clear at the top of the Premier League and look set to retain our title.

Next Month's Fixtures

What a month of football! Absolutely stunning. Not only have you blitzed your way through in the Champions League to set-up a reasonably winnable tie against Lyon, but you've continued your league form in excellent fashion and booked a place in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup. Fantastic!

Delighted to hear Warrington opted to name their ground in your honour. A truly remarkable achievement that is absolutely merited. Also, congratulations to Isaac Pereira for collecting two separate awards, including the European Golden Boy award. He joins an elite list!
What a December!! Some huge results there which have really set you apart from the chasing pack. Incredible Champions League performance and great to get the odd Warrington update along the way. Could really see you sweeping the domestic trophies this year...unless the takeover has something to do with it... Really interested to see what happens there..

I can't believe how well we're doing at the moment! Hopefully, we can keep it up on all fronts

January 2027

A routine 4-0 win to put us into the next round of the FA Cup, a good performance.

Lost for words. How the hell have we not won this game or even scored for that matter!? What a performance by the West Ham keeper, surely he can't do the same in the second leg though!

7th January

After a long period of uncertainty, Richard Bell is named as the new Chairman of Everton after completing his takeover (I forgot to screenshot)

As part of the takeover, Bell is signing two players for me, which I have no say over!

However, on the plus side, he is splashing his cash to improve our facilities.

A very pleasing 3-0 win away at Man City. We took our chances and defended well to keep them at bay and keep a clean sheet.

10th January

Defenders Vasco Barbosa and Nahuel Pascutti sign from Inter and Bayern Munich for fees of 60m and 38.5m respectively. We are now way overloaded with defenders which is really annoying.

Another superb performance in the Premier League sees us win by four goals to one against Burnley at Goodison Park, Wallim grabbing a brilliant hat-trick.

It was nice to get revenge for the Carabao Cup draw. We were once again the dominant side against the Hammers which has filled me with confidence ahead of our second leg at the London Stadium.

Another great away win, this time by three goals to nil at Arsenal. We let them have more chances than I would have liked but the main thing was that we picked up all three points.

A very disappointing result. With the team we put out, we should have easily beaten Sheffield Wednesday, but the performance on the pitch did not match the team on paper. The performance was diabolical to be quite honest.

25th January

Everton or Sheffield Wednesday will travel to Newcastle in the FA Cup 5th Round

After beating them in the Premier League, I was confident and I was right to be. We were much the better side and eased to a 3-0 win to book our place in the Carabao Cup Final.

27th January

Everton to face Liverpool in the Carabao Cup Final

I'm disappointed that we dropped points at Tottenham but we were the better side and were unlucky not to win. Sometimes you just have to smile, admit it wasn't your day, then go again next game.

We now have a thirteen point lead at the top of the Premier League table. I think it's safe to say that we'll be retaining our title.

Next Month's Fixtures

Looking very pretty at the top. Interesting that the new chairman came in and immediately brought in two players without your say so, I've not seen that one before! Pleased you managed to get the job done against West Ham... hopefully another piece of silverware awaits. It would be even sweeter to claim it against your bitter rivals.

That's more like it! A dominant performance against Sheffield Wednesday puts us through into round 5 where Newcastle at St. James' Park awaits.

12th February

Isaac Pereira out for 3 weeks with a fractured cheekbone

This game turned into a horrible feisty affair with both teams kicking lumps out of each other. Aside from that, I'm pleased with what turned out to be an easy win over Villa.

15th February

Good on him. As long as he keeps banging in the goals, I couldn't care less though.

I love this routine of easing to wins in the Premier League. It certainly makes my job a hell of a lot easier! The lads have been superb so far this season.

Two away goals, a win and a two-goal cushion to take back to Goodison Park in the second leg. Can't ask for much better than that.

Two down, three to go. It was a battle but we managed to get the win over Liverpool to win the Carabao Cup. The next target is the proper treble to match Man United of 1999.
