These are the kinds of matches that I feel bad about. I wanted to replace my entire roster at halftime.

Trophy number three:



After a tremendous undefeated run to start the season, Arsenal handed us our first defeat. And while we seemed to be getting very complacent at times, often leaving games hanging in the balance until the last 10 minutes or so, we kept getting by. After this narrow win over a Burnley team that we clearly outclassed, however, I wonder if I need to do something to keep my team motivated.

Is it not getting a bit boring now winning every game? haha none the less you've done a brilliant job and it's 'refreshing' to see someone achieve this feat without cheating!

p.s could you put a quick word on how the mighty Bristol City are doing as everyone seems to be asking for these favors? would be greatly appriciated

The game is definitely starting to become stale because of how easy it is right now to win games. I've shifted my focus more to the financial and developmental side of things to provide a new challenge. If/when I accomplish the goals that I have set for myself in those regards, then it will be time to move clubs and seek another challenge entirely.

I could argue that the refs blew a call when we had a goal disallowed during regular time. I could argue that the refs blew another call when Liverpool had a goal stand during extra time. In the end, however, our defense allowed someone to bag a hat-trick. And for all the fireworks that our offense created all season long, we simply couldn't come up with one more goal at the end.

Is there such thing as disappointment in losing the Champions Cup Finals? I think so.

Summary

This season feels a lot like 2019. We lost in the Champions Cup Final by 1 goal. And in reviewing that season, I realized that we were also eliminated by Chelsea in the Carling Cup. Beyond that, I'm left with this bittersweet feeling at the end of the season. It wasn't for a lack of silverware added to the team's trophy case - we won 5 1st place trophies all total. But that doesn't quite make the sting of coming so close to another Champions Cup trophy, which would have been our second in a row.

As has been the case now with our high profits each season, the board has chosen to upgrade facilities without me having to prompt them. We're spending 32m to expand the stadium yet again, and this expansion will bring our seating total to just over 51000 once things are complete in November. We're also expanding on our youth recruitment network, which I hope will help our scouting efforts overseas.
