Godman are you planning to make this a long term project with United or will you stay a few years and maybe try a new challenge in a new country say Spain or Italy?

Have City been spending big in your game so far as I see you been spending big with Hazard and Gotze? I suppose given that your midfield and front players (Hazard, Rooney, Young, Nani, Cleverly, Anderson, Hernandez, Gotze ect) are so young then basically those areas are covered for the future. So it's the back line you will be looking at especially who will replace Rio and Evra?

This is a long term project, as stated I am looking to build using youth from my academy. I am not trying to spend big anymore but I wanted Hazard and Götze to be the corner stones of my United team for the next 10+ years. I will be looking at players like David de Gea, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Javier Hernández, Danny Welbeck, Fábio, Rafael, Tom Cleverley, Federico Macheda, Paul Pogba, Ravel Morrison, Robbie Brady, Ryan Tunnicliffe, Oliver Norwood, Will Keane, Sam Johnstone, Sean McGinty, Ezekiel Fryers, Michael Keane, Luke McCullough, Adnan Januzaj and Mats Møller Dæhli to be in the first team squad. I know this will take around 5 years to get going (hence the spending now) as I need a base and a solid team that will not need much tinkering and allows me to introduce the youngsters above.

I am looking for Jones and Smalling to be the central defenders to replace Ferdinand and Vidić with Evans as backup for either. Fábio will be Evra's replacement and I have a very good regan in my Under 18's that will be his cover.

Man City - Not much spending at the moment but the have just signed Juan Manuel Vargas for 15.75 Million. They are mainly buying regans from very small european teams.

A hat trick by Hernández and goals from Hazard and Vidić gave me a 5-0 victory.

I see what you are trying to do with United...basically what Ferguson did when he had the likes of Butt, Neville's, Beckham, Scholes and Giggs coming through the ranks. You are right it could take 5 or more years to get to where you want to be with that squad but if all goes well it will be worth it.

Just saw Henrandez scored a hat trick against Blackburn! How is he coming along?

I wish you luck with it and it will be some challeneg to compete against the cream of Real madrid and Barcelona on the European stage but who knows.

Surprised at City that they are not splashing the cash on the superstars especially since they lost out on the EPL to you last season.

Yeah.

Hernández is coming along nicely. First season 28 starts and 14 as sub and scored 23 goals. This season he has started very well and is keeping Rooney out of the team.

Blackburn must have some amount of cash looking at those transfers! £20 million for Samba is some deal!

Did you have to haggle for Gotze? I doubt £56 million was your starting bid but to be sure of getting him you probably went that bit further.

Can't see anyone in the EPL stopping you this season with Hazzard, Gotze, Young, Rooney and a free scoring Hernandez. Hopefully this season you can add the CL to your list. Just need a slightly better draw for the Q/F than last season.

No. Gerard Deulofeo, Mateo Kovacic and Alvaro Vadillo will be involved more next year. However I will use them in my League Cup games, FC cup games and dead rubber League and Champions League games.

Not sure, they seem to use Walcott in that role.

I first contacted Borussia Dortmund in March and they wanted 120 million so I decided not to act anymore till the summer. I then contacted Borussia Dortmund again and they wanted 70 million and after some negotiating I got him for 56 million.

Won the game 3-4. Vidić gave me the lead from a header from a corner, Fulham then equalized through Mauro Boselli. Hernández then put me in the lead again with a powerful effort, Boselli however then scored again. Mark Schwarzer then scored an own goal and Steve Sidwell conceded a penalty, which Giggs converted. Andile Jali then scored the final goal for Fulham in the 78 minute.

Injury News - Carlos Fierro injured whilst playing for the Under 18’s and will be out for 6 weeks. Nani also injured and out for 3 weeks.
