Transfer News – Tom Thorpe joined Port Vale for 6 months, Marnick Vermijl joined Shrewsbury Town for 6 months, Larnell Cole joined Exeter City for 6 months, and Bébé joined Leeds for 6 months. All were loan moves.
My man utd story
1st season:
Signed Yann M'Vila and won the league and league cup. Lost in the fa cup semi final cuz i rested the entire team for the champs league semi with real. Got to the final to play barca and lost in the second half of extra time to a david villa 35 yard freekick!
team:
De Gea
Jones Rio Vidic Evra
Nani Cleverley M'Vila Young
Rooney Chicharito
2nd Season:
Signed Douglas costa, hamsik, cavani and thiago alcantara(loan). Won the league, league cup and champs league (beat madrid 3-0 in the final).
team:
De Gea
Jones Rio Vidic Evra
D.Costa Hamsik M'Vila Young
Rooney Cavani
From then on it was utter domination every season.
3rd Season:
Signed bale for 55 million pounds (well worth it, he scored in the next two champs league finals for me). This season was probably my best, won the charity shield, European Super Cup, World Club Cup, League Cup, FA Cup, Premier League(100 points with 124 goals scored and GD of 84) and the Champions League (beat Bayern 5-2 in the final). This was the ultimate team, perfectly balanced in every way. Had D.Costa scoring the freekicks and delivering the perfect corner, smalling scored 12 goals from corners and set pieces, Cavani scored 42 goals and won the golden ball with rooney in 3rd. Bale running down the wing scoring goals and putting in crosses, M'vila winning the ball in midfield ala roy keane and hamsik coming up with crucial goals in big matches. And ofcourse had chicharito coming off the bench and rotating with the rooney and cavani, all three strikers scored over 35 goals.
team:
De Gea
Jones Smalling Vidic Evra
D.Costa Hamsik M'Vila Bale
Cavani Rooney
I should have stopped at the top but ofcourse i couldnt, the next two seasons were pretty much more of the same, domination in all competitions except for one season i lost the league to man city which fkn hurt. But won everything else including the champs league. Played Porto in the CL final in the fourth season and won 5-0.
After 5 seasons my team looks like this:
De Gea
Rafael Jones Smalling Fabio
D.Costa Hamsik Ganso Bale
Cavani Fierro
Subs: Courtois, Papadopoulos, van der wiel, M'Vila, young, Rooney, chicharito
In the 6th season looking to make it 5 champions leagues in a row. Fkn love this game!

Transfer Thoughts
I decided to spend big this year as I want to first create a young quick attacking team and I believe the signings of Mario Götze and Eden Hazard are key to this as they are both young and have fantastic technique. Also I believe they will be at United for many years.
With the signings of Gerard Deulofeo, Alvaro Vadillo, Carlos Fierro and Mateo Kovacic who will all be in my Under 18’s Team this year, which enable my coaches to work with them and then introduce them to the first team over the coming year means I have a conveyer belt of talent.
I also have a few promising youngsters in my Under 18’s who I believe will be future stars such as Adnan Januzaj, Luke McCullough and Mats Moller Daehli and again I will look to introduce them into the first team over the next season.
I also have a couple of older players such as Robbie Brady, Ryan Tunnicliffe, Oliver Norwood, Ravel Morrison, Paul Pogba, Scott Wootton, Michael Keane and Will Keane who have the potential to be good squad players in the future.
I will be looking for a deep lying playmaker (whoever it will really depend on the form of Anderson, if Ryan Giggs retires, how Oliver Norwood develops on loan and how Mats Moller Daehli develops in the Under 18’s) and the one I am keeping tabs on is Javi Martínez. Other players that I am monitoring are Jack Rodwell, Ross Barkley and Kyle Walker as all three a young and have great potential. Also they are English.
Other than the above players I will be using the Barcelona “La Masia” strategy. I know this will take around 5 years to get going (hence the spending now) as I need a base and a solid team that will not need much tinkering and allows me to introduce the youngsters above.
Great going !!
Just an advice, scout Y Sanogo and Erick Torres and buy them if they are still cheap as they would really turn out to be world class...
You also haven't brought in a back-up for the right back position, so I think you should consider Romario .. as a cheap back up for rafael/fabio + evra is aeging and hence you would need back-up for fabio as well in that left back position... possibly alex sandro, if he is still cheap!
I do not rate Sanogo and I did look at Torres but I decided to go with Fierro. As for the full back positions, I have cover for the RB role as Rafael, Fábio, Smalling, Jones and Keane can all play their. As for the LB role I know Evra is ageing but he is very fit. I want to develop players and not just buy ones in. I have Fábio who I believe will succeed him plus one of my regan players who is young called Kristian Davis who is developing nicely.
Obviously ur game ur choice... but thought it would help to have another facet ... my thinking:
1)You will need smalling and Jones at CB positions as Ferdinand and Vidic would start declining from 2nd season... hence a proper back up would be required
2)Same with evra, he becomes a bit inconsistent after 31... if you have regen then its fine.
3)Keane is not good enough for Manutd squad and romario is still very young (just 18 year old) and will cost under 1 million pounds, so thats not just "buying one in" BUT buying
Hazard and Gotze investing more than 100 million is definitely "buying players in" .... LOL !
U do NOT rate Yaya Sanogo ????? He is absolute beast in front of goal ... perfect replacement for Chicharito.... Just consider me as a scout and take him if he is still less than 10 million.... you will thank me later ... and I can bet on it !!!!
Anyways ... these are just my thoughts but would like to hear your arguments on above points and if you are buying y Sanogo

First of all I appreciate your input (it is good to get ideas other than mine) I know Ferdinand and Vidic are getting on and currently my two main CB are Vidic and Jones. In the future my two CB will be Jones and Smalling with Evans in support. The reason why I do not rate Sanogo is because he always goes to a big team and never plays so his stats dont improve (this is what happened in FM2011) anyway I think Barcelona signed him so no chance for a couple of years. Also I know I have spent big on Hazard and Gotze but these players will give me 10-12 years minimum so not much in the long run (91 Million in total for 20 years service combined so 4.5 million a year each).

Cool dude, always nice talking to you....
thats y i told u to take romario as if rafael gets injured, u would have to move smalling to rb and would deplete ur team.
Re: hazard n gotze, there is an alternate way to success also .... if you buy cheap, young but high potential players, like z Labayad, Ericksen, etc which will attain a great level if you nurture them... so you really do not have to spend big, anyways i also prefer taking star players (I took Ronaldo back to manutd for 60 million) but then since you only say that you want to develop players... i had to point it out..
Best of luck for the season !
Transfer News – Having reevaluated my striking options I have decided that I am in need another striker to cover Rooney, Hernández and Welbeck as I have Macheda out on loan at Celtic. I do have Will Keane and Carlos Fierro but both are raw talents, therefore they will get chance in cup games. Therefore I have reproached Michael Owen and we wants a one year deal with wages of around £13750 a week. I have offered him the contract and I will see what happens.
Transfer News – Michael Owen accepted my offer and has signed a one-year deal. As Mario Götze took the number 7 shirt Own will wear shirt number 51.
Pre Season Friendly
A good preseason with plenty of goals and great performances. Also worth noting that Robbie Brady scored a hat trick in the third game in the first 7 minutes of the match. Mainly used my 4-2-3-1 formation but slight tweaked the roles.

I know your talking about me and I can see where your coming from, you have a good point and if im honest the main reason i wrote about those was coz i just created this account and wanted to get involved and then i got caught up in this amazing 1 off win, also, after the man city match i drew to west brom and everton which isnt something to be proud of since i started with one of the best squads in the game. so i don't think im as good as you think i do and im not.
