Champions League – AC Milan A – 04.12.13

4-2-3-1
Anders Lindegaard, Rafael, Phil Jones, Nemanja Vidić, Jordi Alba, Paul Pogba, Darren Fletcher, Nani, Mateo Kovačić, Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernández
Subs used – Kyle Walker, Federico Macheda, Ashley Young

Lost the game 3-1. Had plenty of chances but could not convert any and AC Milan did. Fletcher was the goal scorer with a powerful header from a corner.

So the table finished up like this –

League Game - Stoke H – 07.12.13

4-2-3-1
Anders Lindegaard, Kyle Walker, Chris Smalling, Jonny Evans, Fábio, Anderson, Darren Fletcher, Ashley Young, Wayne Rooney, Tom Cleverley, Javier Hernández
Subs used – Phil Jones, Robbie Brady, Danny Welbeck

Another 4-0 victory (third in the row in the league) against Stoke. Anderson opened the scoring on the 26th minute with a placed shot from the edge of the area. Rooney then scored from the spot to give United a 2-0 lead going into the second half. Hernández scored after great reverse pass by Cleverley and Rooney then completed the scoring with a well-executed finish. United dominated this game as they had 34 shots at goal compared to Stoke who had 0. Also had over 60% of the possession and completed 85% of the passes compared to stoke ho completed 65%.
League Cup Qtr Final – Huddersfield A – 11.12.13

4-2-3-1
Anders Lindegaard, Kyle Walker, Shaheen Hughes, Jonny Evans, Kristian Davies, Mats Moller Daehli, Paul Pogba, Adnan Januzaj, Mateo Kovačić, Robbie Brady, Federico Macheda
Subs Used – Jack Barmby, Danny Welbeck, Andrew Kenyon

A very good 0-2 victory, starting with Brady crossing for Daehli to score his first goal for the club and then my two subs teamed up as Barmby crossed for Welbeck to score. Into the next round I go.
Transfer Thoughts

As it comes up to the January window my squad is looking strong however due to the injury to Rodwell I am a CM light so I may have a look around to see what I can find. If I do sign anybody it will not be for huge money or a player with a big reputation (so no Javi Martínez this window). I would promote Daehli but he still needs time to develop. I will kepp him with the under 18’s this season and then look to loan him next season. One player I have looked as is Ross Barkley and I have been told that he is available for £9 million but as I have said I do not want to spend that much.
Try Felipe Anderson (CM)
What about an international watch? Wouldn't mind seeing how your young guns are competing at an international level.
Can we see Daehli's attributes? He seems to be a good prospect.
I would also go for Felipe anderson, pure class. But it seems like you already have a lot for cm. Maybe you should let the youth play?
#40163 nakulp : Try Felipe Anderson (CM)

He would cost to much at the moment.
#40175 Roarschach : What about an international watch? Wouldn't mind seeing how your young guns are competing at an international level.

I will get the info and post this soon.
#40196 JI123 : Can we see Daehli's attributes? He seems to be a good prospect.

Will post this soon, watch this space :)
#40236 Espen7 : I would also go for Felipe anderson, pure class. But it seems like you already have a lot for cm. Maybe you should let the youth play?

I have 5 players in my 1st team squad who I would play in a CM role, they are Jack Rodwell, Paul Pogba, Tom Cleverley, Darren Fletcher and Anderson (I would not play Mario Götze, Eden Hazard or Mateo Kovacic as they are all attacking CM and Phil Jones is my 1st choice CB) As I have said i always look to youth 1st and I do have Daehli but he is still developing and my other players are out on loan.
FIFA Club World Championship Semi Final – LA Galaxy – 18/12/13

4-2-3-1
David De Gea, Rafael, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Jordi Alba, Tom Cleverley, Darren Fletcher, Nani, Eden Hazard, Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernández
Subs used – Paul Pogba, Anderson, Mario Götze

A very good 0-4 victory with goals from Nani, Fletcher and two from Hernández.
Champions League Draw –

Juventus – FC Bayern Munich
AC Milan – Porto
VfB Stuttgart – Man City
Real Madrid – Olympique Lyonnais
Marseille – Barcelona
Borussia Dortmund – Man Utd
SL Benfica – Shakhtar Donetsk
Celtic – Chelsea
FIFA Club World Championship Final – Cruzeiro – Yokohama - 21/12/13

4-2-3-1
David De Gea, Rafael, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Jordi Alba, Tom Cleverley, Darren Fletcher, Nani, Eden Hazard, Mario Götze, Javier Hernández
Subs used – Fábio, Paul Pogba, Ashley Young,

Dominated the game and then took the lead in the second half when Hernández scored a tidy effort. Wellington Paulista then allowed Smalling to score a header from a corner. So the match finished 2-0 and another cup in the bag.

On another note Hernández was voted the best player of the tournament with Nani in second and Rafael in third.
