Other News – I have appealed the red card against Lindegaard and the ban has been rescinded.
Injury News – Alba has been injured in training and will miss the Final so it will look like Evans will start at LB as Fábio is also out injured.

The game did not start the best for United as Evans gave away a penalty in the 3rd minute and Petrović scored. However Hernández got United level with a clever finish 5 minutes later. Hernández then got his second with a powerful effort after 21 minutes. Hazard then completed the scoring in the 28th minute to win the FA Cup.

Transfer Thoughts – As the season draws to an end I am looking at potential new signings that could help my squad improve. I am nearing the end of my 3rd season and 5 year project and my aim is to spend 5 years developing my Academy and after the 5 years hopefully I will not have to spend any money (apart on very good young 14-17 year olds) as I would have developed my Academy enough to replicate that of Barcelona La Masia). Currently I have started to develop a very good youth system and a couple of them have already made 1st team appearances (Shaheen Hughes, Andrew Kenyon, Luke Gill and Kristian Davies) plus the likes of Adnan Januzaj and Mats Dæhli have developed well over the last couple of years. In addition to this the likes of Phil Jones, Paul Pogba, Tom Cleverley and Danny Welbeck are all key players.
However as the season draws to a near Newcastle have been relegated so the likes of Yohan Cabaye and Cheick Tioté are available. Also I might have a look at Yaroslav Rakitskyi (due to his versatility) and also Gylfi Sigurðsson (mainly due to his set-pieces skills and great long-range shooting ability). However after looking at my squad I have decided that my number 1 target is Gareth Bale. He has been in great form this year for Tottenham scoring lots of goals and creating lots as well. Plus he is left footed and he would bring a good balance to the squad. On another not he is also a very good set-piece taker.
