End of the 2018/2019 season

Well we did not qualify for the Champions league, but I think it will be nice to have a less stressful season for once. We were 7 points behind Liverpool so we didn't really even come close to 4th place.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/525/tablejy.png/
As for our Champions League semi-final, we lost to Man city. It was a very disappointing loss too, since we won the first leg 1-0, but then something happened and we took a huge beating 5-0.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/59/fixturest.png/

The club's reputation had a nice lift due to our succes in the CL and consistent results in the League.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/507/rankingsi.png/
And here is the best eleven for the season. 19-year old striker Dirk Thoma was chosen as the best striker along with Leigh Griffiths. I cant help but wonder why I am paying 155k/week to Daniel Sturridge.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/266/best11.png/

I think there will be some big signings during the summer and I will possibly try to sell Sturridge, who isn't getting any younger and I would still get some money from the transfer. I think his value will drop dramatically soon, since much of his ability as a striker comes from being an extremely physical player and that's what he'll lose first as he gets older. This would mean I have to buy a decent replacement for him.

Some deadweight will have to leave aswell, probably including Mehdi Abeid, Marco Rocchi, Hadi Aktan and others.
Season 2019/2020 pre-season results and transfers.
Unfortunately I have not been able to sell Daniel Sturridge as his wage demands are too high for all the clubs that are interested in him. He is still an amazing striker, but he’s eating up a huge chunk of my wages and is refusing to negotiate a new contract. I would love to have him, even as the highest earner in the team, but his wages are twice as large as anyone else’s in the team. I will keep looking for interested clubs, but it is the final year in his contract so I will be rid of him after this season, no matter what.
It was a busy transfer window and I made a couple very important transfers. I broke my own spending record with 33 million pounds spent on new players. I also sold and released quite a few players and balanced my high spending with 21 million from players sold. I’ve set an asking price of 10 million for Sturridge so if I will be able to sell his Highness, I’m looking at a pretty good balance once again.
Here is a summary of this summer’s transfer activity:
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/209/transfersr.png/
I finally let Fabianski go. Thibaut Courtois is my favourite goalkeeper and even though Fabianski played 10+ games every season, he was unhappy and rightly so as he is worthy of a starting spot. He has not found a new club yet though, I hope this is not the end of his career. Ruben Molenaar I bought last season to replace Snodgrass, but since Snodgrass ultimately decided he did not want to leave Leeds, Molenaar did not get a lot of games under his belt and wanted to leave for greener pastures.
Here is a closer look at the players I brought in to the team:
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/835/artemw.png/
What a fantastic young striker he is. Unfortunately he already injured himself in a friendly match and will be out for a couple months. Hopefully he will be one our key players in the future.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/842/ideguchi.png/
My direct replacement for Sturridge. Magnificent player, scores incredible amounts of goals. He has not yet played at this high level, but I’m certain he will shine here in England. He can also play in central midfield which is always a nice bonus.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/252/rodrigues.png/
A true wonderkid. I’m sure he will be one of the best players in his position in the future.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/843/torreslm.png/
A wonderful striker. A lot of creativity which is exactly what my frontline needs.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/820/savic.png/
He was playing for Man city’s reserves and they sold him for only 4,7million. I think he will be an important player for us and still only 28 years old so a few good years ahead of him here at Leeds.
Tiago Maia Is my replacement for Fabianski and is simply a backup goalkeeper. Probably won’t be playing too many football matches.
So a lot of changes, especially in the frontline. I’m very happy with everything except Sturridge.
Our pre-season was very productive. We only lost one game and the new recruits were very impressive. I have great squad depth now and I plan to use a completely different line-up for EURO cup and league games.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/141/preseason.png/
Here is my current squad and the tactic is use in most games:
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/341/squads.png/
My goal for this season is to qualify for the Champions League once again. The board is only expecting me to secure a spot in the EURO cup.

great read mate, could you put up a print of carlos fierro to see how he develops? i'd appreciate that :D

There you go! I actually tried to sign him during the summer, but they asked 24 million so I backed up.

It’s been difficult start to the season, but I knew it would take a while for the team to blend since there are quite a few new faces in the team. We’re currently sitting in 4th place, but a lot of teams have played one game less than us so it doesn’t mean anything at this point. Here is the league table:
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/805/tablew.png/
We lost our starting goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, to injury and I think that has had a big effect on our results. The new backup keeper I bought just isn’t good enough and it’s very bad luck that I had just let Fabianski leave on a free transfer. I can’t remember Courtois ever getting himself injured before, but it’s not too bad and he should be back within the next couple of weeks.
We had some very hard fixtures in the league during our first few games, but I think we should have won more than we did. We had a great chance to beat Man City, but we gifted them 2 late goals and walked out with nothing to show for our good performance.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/861/fixtk.png/
We had a very thrilling game against huge rivals Chelsea. 2 of our players were sent off, but we battled our way to victory at Stamford Bridge.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/266/9man.png/
We were given a pretty easy group in Europe and I can see us qualifying with great ease.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/16/easygroup.png/
New signing Erick Torres has been most impressive, despite being sent off in the match against Chelsea. He has already shown signs of being a key player for us in the future.
Dude I know it's a bit too late, maybe, but you should have signed Rafinha from Barca for 10 mil or less in stead of Felipe and Rafinha is better and develops faster, or maybe Lorenzo Crisetig from Inter for 800k, he will develop into a good ball winning mid fielder but in mine he also becomes a good play maker, played him in in deeplying play maker with instructions to chase opponents down and to pass a lot and Crisetig can own the midfield in a few months.

Yeah it's a little bit late hehe. You're right I just checked out Crisetig and he's looks very good, but he costs a little bit too much for me now. Rafinha isn't good at all, but I think it's because he hasn't been playing any games and his progression has stalled. Thank you for the advice though!
I haven’t had the energy to write for a while, so we are already deep in to February. It has been a very solid season so far and thanks to Man City’s poor form, we find ourselves in 3rd place behind Arsenal and Man United. Tottenham really struggled last season and now they find themselves 17th and once again battling relegation. I feel sorry for them, but I it would make the league a little bit easier if they weren’t here so I’m not too bothered!
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/266/tablewy.png/
Man City are 7 points behind us so it’s great to have some breathing space for a change.

I think so far it’s been the best season yet in the sense that we’ve won and lost the right games and that just makes me very, very happy indeed. But of course, it is never nice losing to Arsenal 5-0. Here are our fixtures so far:
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/689/fixturess.png/
We are also through to the 6th round in the FA cup and had some decent games in the group stage. The board are expecting us to get to the Semi-final in both competitions so we’ve got a long way to go.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/688/eurocupo.png/
Centre-back Alexander Callens has been the best player so far this season. In addition to a series of magnificent defensive performances, he is also Leeds United’s top scorer this season with 10 goals to his name.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/832/callens.png/
I’ve been using a different tactic since October and I think I will stick with it. The wing-backs play a huge role and they’ve been very impressive unlike in the 4-4-2 I used before. Any player can score goals in this tactic and it really takes the pressure off the strikers.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/580/tacticj.png/
And last, but not least, I made one signing during the January transfer window. A very promising American midfielder, who unfortunately cannot play due to work permit issues and I had to send him out on loan.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/542/evanst.png/
Leeds is being taken over by some businessmen.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/641/takeover.png/
I would really hate to lose my job like this. I hope this will be over quickly so I can do business in the summer transfer window.

Summary of the 2019/2020 season.
It has been a good season for us as we will make our return to the Champions League next season after finishing 3rd in the league.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/694/tableuw.png/
And after some lucky draws and fine performances we managed to win the F.A. cup and I hope that this will be the beginning of a long trophy-collecting run for us. The final was against Watford like in the league cup some time ago. Here is how it went:
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/577/facupo.png/
The final score was 2-0.

I was very disappointed that we failed to win the EURO cup. It was a very tight final against Malaga and the result could have really gone either way, but this time Malaga had that one all-important goal. Here are our results in the second half of the season:
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/534/fixturesf.png/
We broke the Leeds record with 12 consecutive competitive wins too which was absolutely fantastic.

Here is the best eleven for the season:
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/12/best11f.png/
It is time to strengthen the squad once again. I will be looking for a defensive midfielder, because Tioté is getting old and Steve Davies just isn’t good enough to start league games. My budget will probably be quite small due to only competing in the EURO cup, but I hope to get something around 20 million. It turns out Sturridge had a clause in his contract and he was just rewarded a one year extension to his contract and also he is now earning over 200k/week and I can only hope that I can sell him this time because the wage budget is very tight.
thats brilliant and would it be able to get a picture of arsenals team?
thanks!

There you go. I hope that's what you wanted to see.
-Season 2020/2021 Transfers, pre-season and early season results-

It was a good transfer window. I found a great replacement for Cheik Tioté, but first I have to honor Johnny Howson, who retired during the summer at the age of 32 after spending his entire career at Leeds United. He was the captain for many years and even though he didn’t appear in the starting eleven too much recently, he was still an important part of the team.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/705/howson.png/
So it’s time for the transfers. My transfer budget for the season was 17 million and 1,1 million for wages and expectations for the season are once again continental qualification, which should be rather easy. I would’ve agreed higher expectations for more money if the difference had been significant, but it wasn’t.

Here is a summary of the transfer activity:
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/444/transj.png/
Crepél is my new backup goalkeeper, because Maia was rather unhappy about his lack of first team appearances. I let some reserve players leave on free transfers as well as Sturridge. I didn’t really want to let him leave for free, but he refused negotiating a new contract and refused wage offers from other clubs so I had no choice as he was eating up 1/5 of my wage budget. Of course after I let him free, he signed for Man City and now collects a paycheck of 21,000/week after I had offered him 120k, but I guess that’s his choice.

Now the most important transfer of the season:
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/407/rios.png/
I just love him. A magnificent player. a lot better than Tioté. for 11million from Argentinos.

And another midfielder. He looks pretty damn good except his physical stats are quite awful. I like a midfielder with some pace. I’ll just have to see how he does.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/708/nuri.png/
So that’s it for the transfers. The season started extremely well with a solid with a pre-season and then an outstanding victory against Arsenal in the Community Shield. We lost very narrowly to Liverpool and Man city while Arsenal are yet to lose a single game so I guess title challenge is not an option this season either, but we’ll do our best to stay in the top 3.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/593/resultsyq.png/
European games haven’t been going as well as before, even though our group isn’t the toughest one imaginable. I’m still confident we can qualify for the next stage.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/11/euroet.png/
The season is going very well so far in February. We are looking like real title contenders at the moment.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/189/tableed.png/
If we can keep this current form alive, we have a real chance of winning the league, but I’m not going to get ahead of myself just yet. We had another delicious win against Arsenal, again 4-1 and other very strong results and currently we are on a 13 match unbeaten run.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/607/fixt.png/
Our moral took a dip during January, but after beating Everton 5-0 at Goodison park, we are again overflowing with confidence and I hope it’ll help us maintain our results.

After the poor start to our European campaign, we picked ourselves up and ended up winning our Group and qualifying for the next stage where we will meet Sevilla.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/688/eccd.png/
I made one signing during the January window. Despite my high hopes for Hiroshi Ideguchi, he has been most unimpressive so I bought a new poacher for 10 million from Chivas. He has been a target for me for some time now, but his price tag has been around 25 million before now and I was very happy to get him. Ideguchi was sold for 13,25million.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/13/fierro.png/
Also Matthew Evans, who I signed quite a while ago, has now been granted a work permit and will be featuring in the Leeds first team for the rest of the season. He has improved a lot while he was on loan and I expect the development to continue.
