Six Of The Best From United

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Chris Smalling, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Jonny Evans, Paul Scholes, Marek Hamsik, Antonio Valencia, Nani, Javier Hernandez, Wayne Rooney
Subs Used - Rafael, Ryan Giggs, Danny Welbeck

Just the response i wanted following our draw at Chelsea a week ago. Nani gave us the lead inside the first minute & that opened the floodgates for many more..A Rooney double & Valencia strike made it 4-0 after just 22mins. Rafael came on for the second half, his first appearance of the season following a long term shoulder injury & played well. Danny Welbeck came on to get our 5th of the day & Marek Hamsik wrapped it from the spot towards the end.

A very nice victory tonight to wrap up the group stages. Goals from Park, Anderson & Phil Jones wrapped up the win & puts us into the knockout stage with 5 wins from 6 in the group...this is the final group table.

Manchester United 3 - 0 Napoli

Spurs Smash United's Unbeaten League Run

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Rafael, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Jonny Evans, Marek Hamsik, Ryan Giggs, Antonio Valencia, Nani, Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck
Subs Used - Anderson, Dimitar Berbatov

This was probably our worst performance of the season, though we did had chances we didn't look like our usual selves. Wayne Rooney particularly disappointed aswell as many others though David De Gea put in a fine display. The home sides goals both came in the first half, Gareth Bale left with loads of space to smash home and then Tom Huddlestone soon after in the 6 yard box. Spurs move to within a point of ourselves with this win.

Tottenham Hotspur 2 - 0 Manchester United

United's Poor December Run Continues

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Rafael, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Fabio, Marek Hamsik, Tom Cleverley, Antonio Valencia, Ryan Giggs, Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck
Subs Used - Anderson, Javier Hernandez, Nani

All of a sudden we've hit a bad patch, Welbeck & Rooney seem to have dryed up at the front end & the defence continues to leak. Javier Hernandez got a much needed goal after 6mins to open the scoring however Steven Taylor met a inswinging cross to head home.

Manchester United 1 - 1 Newcastle United
Madrid is going to be very tough. I did manage to beat them though in the first leg at old trafford i think it was 3-0 lost 4-3 at bernabeu but still went through :)

Mad Marek Silences Anfield Crowd

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Rafael, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Jonny Evans, Marek Hamsik, Tom Cleverley, Antonio Valencia, Nani, Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck
Subs Used - Ryan Giggs

A great game for the neutrals & a good result for myself. We took the lead through Nani early on but soon after Liverpoll were level, Dirk Kuyt getting on the end of an inswinging corner..it was pretty much end to end stuff & it took until 20mins from time for the next goal & unfortunately it was for the home side through Luiz Suarez but we weren't finished, Danny Welbecks blocked shot fell to Marek Hamsik who tucked the ball nicely into the back of the net. A nice point to take back to Manchester however that is now 3 games without a victory.

Liverpool 2 - 2 Manchester United

Red Devils Get Back To Winning Ways

4-4-2
Line Up - Anders Lindegaard, Chris Smalling, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Fabio, Michael Carrick, Tom Cleverley, Antonio Valencia, Nani, Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck
Subs Used - Marek Hamsik, Jonny Evans

Just the response i wanted, maybe not as emphatic as i thought it could be however 3points & a clean sheet is much needed right now. We had to wait for the goals but they eventually came, 10mins from time Tom Cleverley struck a sweet volley & a minute from the end Wayne Rooney ran through to tuck home.

Manchester United 2 - 0 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Back To Back Wins See United Go Top

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Rafael, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Fabio, Michael Carrick, Tom Cleverley, Antonio Valencia, Nani, Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez
Subs Used - Ryan Giggs, Marek Hamsik

With Spurs home defeat earlier in the day a win for my side would see us back on top & thats exactly how it went down. Michael Carrick got his first of the season to give us the lead & then Tom Cleverley scored another sizzler from outside the box on the stroke of half time. Things got worse for the home side when Sylfi Sigurdsson was sent off just past the hour mark.

Swansea City 0 - 2 Manchester United

Richie De Laet has joined Braga for £500.000. I decided i didn't have any plans for him so might aswell invest in him.

In Other News:
Lionel Messi has won the world player of the year award with Andreas Iniesta & Cristiano Ronaldo 2nd & 3rd respectively.
Enjoying the story mate.
