i dont quite understand why you would play counter attacking football against Georgia of all teams. in my eyes thats a match you should go out looking to control and have at least 60-70% of possession. whilst also putting a few against them ,

my tip: with a team with the quality spain has should alwasy look to control

I think that's just the generic away tactic so on one hand I can see why he has, he still got the win and really in the words of Roy Hodgeson, the shot count & the possession stats don't matter, the only one the matters is the scoreline. However, with it being Georgia you should be looking to dominate even when playing that standard of side away and knocking in 5 or 6...
@Shaneo insaneo & Tom_BcFC – Thank you for your advice. I understand where you guys coming from and I truly agree with you guys.

The reason why I use the counter tactic is because I want to test out how my players fare when playing away and against a lower team. True, the final score is not favourable (though we won) and I myself was left frustrated for using the counter tactic but I just want to see what’s the outcome of it and how well they do.

On the other hand, there is no way that my team will go on top of France (after the draw) and I know I will be going for the playoff so to me there is no harm trying but then again I thank you guys for the tips and points taken.

Battle for the top spot

Premier League - Tottenham Hotspur (H)

Formation: 4-3-3

Line-Up: David De Gea, Cesar Azpilicueta, Phil Jones, Nemanja Vidic, Rafael, Eden Hazard, Anderson, Antonio Valencia, Javier Hernandez, Wayne Rooney, Yaya Sanogo
Subs Used: Patrice Evra, Nani

Both teams went into this match with level on points and have not lose a single game.

Well it doesn't take long to spoil Tottenham's gameplan when they were 3-0 down in the first 20 minutes through Yaya Sanogo and Wayne Rooney goals. Javier Hernandez added Tottenham misery when he scored just before half-time. Tottenham were looking to get back into the game but Manchester United kept their possession and held on to their four goals advantage till the final whistle.

A good victory for Manchester United making us top in the league table and maintain our winning streak.
