January

AFC Bournemouth 2-1 brighton Championship

A comfortable 2-1 home win starts the year off nicely.

AFC Bournemouth 0-1 Huddersfield FA Cup 3rd round

Still not to worried about the cup competitions and I sent my changed team out and told them to enjoy themselves. At least I can fully concentrate on just the league now anyway.

Sheff Utd 3-0 AFC Bournemouth Championship

A huge away loss at Sheff Utd but we're still in a strong position in the league.

Portsmouth 3-5 AFC Bournemouth Championship

A nice televised away win at Portsmouth who are struggling in the league with a very small squad.

AFC Bournemouth 6-4 Bristol City Championship

An absolutely crazy game to end the month against a struggling Bristol team in 23rd this game had red cards , injuries , penalties and 10 goals overall. We are the leagues highest goalscorers but we're also leaking goals.

6-4 against City, that's mad!

What are you going to do about your defence, do you have funds to strengthen?
Has your window closed yet? I concur with Tom_BcFC, your defense and/or your keeper need the good ole hairdryer treatment. Do you have the funds to buy another defender, or a loaner?

No Tom unfortunately I don't there is nothing available and I'm about 3k over my wage budget so that's even restricted for free transfers. I'm just hoping we can hold out and make the playoffs staying up os a bonus for me anyway but IF we manage to get promoted I am going to need some funds to spend as this team will get tore apart in the Premier League.

Kiwi yeh window has just closed I have 25 players now to see me through.
Could you sell off your weakest attacker and hope for a bit of cash there??

Focus Match Prep Defensively, maybe alter your tactics ever so slightly to see you through to the end of the season.

To gain promotion it'd be very risky to wish on your strikers ability to outscore any opponent, great to watch but risky as hell!

Lol yeh it has been risky I admit I will try what you said actually about focusing on defensive as we were focusing on set pieces so I can change that I guess.

I have 3 under 18 players all worth around 500-750k each 2 of them are 16 and one is 17 I've had interest in all 3 from Norwich , West Brom , Wigan and Sunderland and accepted bids for them but the players refuse the contracts and won't leave.
It's always a bit tough to get rid of your under eighteen players, particularly if you have bought them in the same year with a view to increasing your depth. They feel some sort of misguided loyalty, and all you can see is "that's 2M that I could be spending on defense."

It's a long shot, free transfer out some players, take the hit on your transfer budget and squeeze some money out of your wage budget?

February

Newcastle 1-1 AFC Bournemouth Championship

A fantastic result for me away at Newcastle who were on a 5 game win streak and are sat in 1st place.

AFC Bournemouth 1-1 Derby

I suppose draws really are like buses you wait ages for one then two come along at once.

Hull 4-0 AFC Bournemouth Championship

Grrrrr Don't fall apart on me now!!!!! SHOCKING

AFC Bournemouth 4-2 Blackburn Championship

This is what I mean about my teams strange form you lose 4-0 to Hull one week then beat 2nd placed Blackburn 4-2 the week after.

Millwall 1-6 AFC Bournemough Championship

Our huge 6-1 win away at Millwall takes our goals to 78 for the season however we've still conceded a huge 56 goals that's 27 more than top placed Newcastle.

Even though your defense leaks like a sieve, you are untouchable? That's fantastic!!

I just hope we can keep scoring at least theres a huge possibility here of making the Premier league this season.
One point and a one goal GD isn't too much to overturn, best of luck with the run-in. Who are you playing?

March

AFC Bournemouth 2-1 Leicester Championship

Good start to the month with a 2-1 win over Leicester 12 games to go in the Championship and I'm still riding high.

Leeds 3-2 AFC Bournemouth Championship

We went in at half time 3-0 down so did well to pull 2 goals back we did get a 3rd which was ruled out for offside which was a shame.

AFC Bournemouth 3-2 Watford Championship

A 94th minute goal by Kezman steals all 3 points.

Middlesbrough 2-7 AFC Bournemouth Championship

Another massive win this has been a really strange season for results. I was lucky that Middlesbrough had 2 men sent off and then their keeper got injured I am still conceding to sloppy however.

AFC Bournemouth 3-1 Huddersfield Championship

A comfortable home win against a struggling Huddersfield side.

Blackpool 1-1 AFC Bournemouth Championship

We came from behind to draw this game so I am happy with that away from home.

League table

April

These next 6 games in April will be make or break for my team they will determine whether we win the league , gain automatic promotion , make the playoffs or finish outside of the top 6.

Wigan 3-1 AFC Bournemouth Championship

A proper battle of a game but we just couldn't grab a 3rd even up against 10 men for the remainding 10 minutes of the game.

AFC Bournemouth 1-2 Nottm Forest Championship

Another late goal conceded in the 88th minute when the game looked likely to end in a draw.

Cardiff 1-0 AFC Bournemouth Championship

A 3rd defeat in a row now and things are starting to look bad time for a team meeting.

AFC Bournemouth 5-3 Burnley Championship

About time I had forgot what it felt like to win a game this is the story of my season I might of scored 5 but also conceded 3 a lot of work needs doing before next season.

Crystal Palace 1-3 AFC Bournemouth Championship

A great away win at Crystal Palace guarantees us a play off place.

AFC Bournemouth 2-0 Coventry Championship

A nice 2-0 home win and I am resting players now for the play offs.
