MAY 2013
Sheffield Wednesday 0-1 Leeds
Just the one game at the beginning of May, ending in a hard-fought victory, eventually won by Prince Buaben with his 10th goal of the season. The players can now rest without the stress of the playoffs and look forward to facing the likes of Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal and main rivals Man Utd.
Your doing a good job at the moment, hopefully you can take Leeds to their former glory!

PRE-SEASON PART 2- FRIENDLIES
Leeds 4-1 Man Utd
Leeds 0-1 Arsenal
Leeds 1-0 Borussia Dortmund
Rotherham 2-1 Leeds
Quite a mixed bag as friendlies go but there were some very pleasing results in there against Man Utd (who were fielding a full strength side) and Dortmund. It was a shame to be on the wrong end of an upset against Rotherham but I suppose if you cause upsets, you've got to expect a few to go against you along the way.
AUGUST 2013
Leeds 1-1 Bolton
Liverpool 3-0 Leeds
Leeds 2-0 Exeter (Capital One Cup 2nd round)
Leeds 1-0 Stoke
A decent start to the season for the Whites with just one defeat from three league games and Leeds are now sitting in 11th in the division. As for the credit card cup, it was a fairly promising run out for a few of the youngsters and they must now travel down to Birmingham for an away fixture at Aston Villa. Nice to see that Jay Rodriguez has been proving his worth having scored in the game against Exeter and his first league goal came against Stoke. He's showing some promise which means he will start against West Ham after the international break.
SEPTEMBER 2013
West Ham 1-2 Leeds
Leeds 2-1 Sunderland
Aston Villa 1-0aet Leeds
Chelsea 7-2 Leeds
It was an okay month for the Whites but understandably, the Chelsea result was very disappointing after bein 2-0 up on 20 minutes. Jay Rodriguez has been a very nice acquisition with 4 goals in 3 league games this month. Leeds are now in 8th
OCTOBER 2013
Leeds 0-0 Man Utd
Aston Villa 3-1 Leeds
Leeds 0-0 Arsenal
Just three games this month with a couple of international breaks. At home Leeds have been performing well getting decent results against the big teams. The major disappointment however was the defeat against Aston Villa and the Whites will want to rectify that problem in the coming matches.
NOVEMBER 2013
Blackburn 0-1 Leeds
Wigan 1-4 Leeds
Swansea 2-2 Leeds
Leeds 3-2 Everton
Leeds 1-1 Southampton
A very pleasing month for Leeds United where they're now on a run of six games unbeaten, including two wins and a draw in three consecutive away fixtures. This impressive run of form has seen the Whites defy the relegation odds so far and move up into 6th.
DECEMBER 2013
West Brom 1-3 Leeds
Leeds 2-2 QPR
Man City 5-1 Leeds
Leeds 1-0 Birmingham
Tottenham 4-1 Leeds
December hasn't turned out to be as good as November, but with that in mind, Leeds have played two very tough teams away from home, and the results from those games weren't very different to what the fans would have expected to see before the season started. Otherwise, Leeds did well in the games they were expected to take points from and currently lie in 8th.
JANUARY 2014
Bolton 1-3 Leeds
Leeds 0-1 Crystal Palace (FA Cup 3rd Round)
Leeds 1-2 Liverpool
Stoke 2-2 Leeds
Leeds 2-1 West Ham
Leeds have struggled to find consistency since Christmas, but that's understandable, given the injury crisis they had been hit with until mid-January. The injury list has sidelined Jonny Howson, Robert Snodgrass, Christian Derflinger, Aidy Whie and Prince Buaben. To resolve this issue, Adam Lallana and Aaron Ramsey have been drafted in on loan from Aston Villa and Arsenal respectively until the end of the season.
FEBRUARY 2014
Sunderland 1-1 Leeds
Leeds 3-1 Chelsea
Man Utd 1-0 Leeds
A mixed bag in the year's shortest month for the Whites, with a draw, a win and a a defeat. The win was extremely pleasing, given the stature of the opposition. What's more, it was a very comfortable win which makes it just that little bit more satisfactory. Leeds are now in 7th.
MARCH 2014
Leeds 4-1 Aston Villa
Arsenal 7-0 Leeds
Leeds 0-0 Blackburn
Everton 1-2 Leeds
Leeds 0-0 Wigan
This month has seen a radical variation in Leeds' results. They went from thumping Villa 4-1 at home one week, to a crushing 7-0 defeat to Arsenal the next followed by by a win at highly respectable Everton. The sooner Leeds find consistency the better, yet they still remain in 7th. Shame to see that Rodriguez has gone several games with out a goal and his total has crashed at 15 so far.
APRIL 2014
Leeds 2-1 Swansea
Leeds 2-7 West Brom
Southampton 1-4 Leeds
QPR 1-1 Leeds
There never seems to be a dull moment on the pitch if Leeds are playing on it. April has become yet another month to fall victim to 2 radically varied results in a row. The 7-2 defeat by West Brom was something that not even Einstein- or for want of a more modern genius, Dr Hawking- could have predicted as was the immediate response of destroying Southampton 4-1 in their own back yard. Leeds lie in 7th, Jay Rodriguez has started scoring again- he's now on 19- and things are getting interesting with Stoke hot on United's tale for that last Europa League spot.
MAY 2014
Leeds 4-4 Man City
Birmingham 1-0 Leeds
Leeds 2-2 Tottenham
Here lies Leeds' effing mental first season back in the Premier League. It has been a very entertaining year which has seen The Whites dish out some hammerings, and take some of their own. And to round it all off, Leeds went and pulled off an amazing 4-4 draw against Man City which saw Leeds go 2 down twice- 3-1 and 4-2. And on top of all this, Leeds just pipped Stoke at the post on the last day of the season to the final Europa League spot. If Stoke failed to win, Leeds would qualify. The Potters were held to a 2-2 draw at league champions Arsenal (cue shock), which means Leeds will play in Europe next year- albeit starting from the third qualifying round.
LEEDS PERSONNEL AMONG NOMINEES FOR ANNUAL AWARDS
Leeds gaffer Josh Townend and striker Jay Rodriguez were honoured to be among the annual awards for the Premier League season 2013/14. Although none of them won an award, it was still very pleasing to see them nominated in Leeds' first year in the Premier League.
Jay Rodriguez finished as runner up for the Young Player of the Year Award with 20 goals from 35 appearances, behind the winner Salomon Rondon of Liverpool.
Josh Townend came 3rd in the Manager of the Year Award, behind runner-up Andre Villas-Boas of Chelsea and the winner Louis van Gaal of Arsenal.
