Hopefully when I get the game on the second I can do a story as well, and it will look similar to this ( I had already planned out the format beforehand :P ). Maybe we can have a trio of stories xD. But anyway, looking good. I'm a Liverpool fan, so I'll be reading. Don't you need another striker though? And an AMC(backup for Stevie-G).

Maybe we can have a trio of stories. xD I won't buy a striker yet but I am in talks with a winger/attacking midfielder at the moment. Suso and Shelvey are solid back-up for Gerrard anyway.

Unfancied Cole Loaned Out To Swansea


"It was announced earlier today that Liverpool's Joe Cole has been sent to Swansea on loan for the season. There is a clause in this deal which will allow Swansea to buy Joe Cole on a permanent basis for £2.5M. It is believed that Liverpool manager Ronnie Whelan could not find a place in his team for Cole but at Swansea, he will get his chance."

Joe Cole: "I need first-team football and that is why I am going to Swansea on loan. Hopefully I can do well and help the team to progress."

Kelly Headed To Stamford Bridge


"Liverpool have accepted a £9.5M bid for Martin Kelly from league rivals Chelsea. Kelly travelled to London where he passed his medical and agreed personal terms. This deal has come as a shock to football fans accross England as Martin Kelly had just started making a name for himself at the Anfield Club."

Martin Kelly: "I thank Liverpool for giving me the chance to play at the highest level in England and in Europe. But I need to go to a team where I can star and Chelsea is the place for me. I want to break in to the first team and stay there."

Me: "I know we were not great in our friendlies but we will perform much, much better. That I'm sure."


Thomas Werner: "Look, don't worry about the pre-season, just make sure that you get at least seven points from our three opening league games."


John Henry: "But before that we need to secure qualification to the Europa League proper."


Me: "Yeah, we will try our best to start well. We need the wins and we will fight to the death for them. However, I do believe that the training facilities need a revamping."

Thomas Werner: "I agree. We will discuss this at the end of the season but we will invest £2.5M in to the reconstruction."

Wasn't my first team vs Anderlecht.

I brought Flanagan up to the senior team.

Are you sure Flanagan is enough?

Because I've found that (atleast in FM12) full-backs that get forward whenever possible always leave huge defensive holes. So Vrsaljko became first choice ahead of Johnson in my FM12 Liverpool save. :P

Have full-backs on defensive duty. I have full faith in my youth.

Good going, Rookie. Do you play your own friendlies, or let your assistant take care of them? I've noticed he does a better job rotating my squad than I do.

I'm not worried at all. Flanagan is solid for me and will perform.
