Different manager, same problem.

We are nearly half way through the First Division League in terms of games played, with our sternest test coming next against the second placed side.

We are still in the hunt for all competitions, including Europe, although I am sure that once we get out of pool play, that is when the sheep will be seperated from the goats. We have got further than I expected, qualifying for the knock out rounds, and perhaps more importantly, further than the Board expectation.

Given Sparta Prague poor showing thus far in the League, I would reasonably expect us to finish champions - particularly in light of the reinforcements coming in the Jan window. In the same breath, anything can happen, as as was proved in last seasons Czech FA Cup, we can take nothing for granted.

I think I was particularly lucky with the squad, we had many of our young talents come to us on frees, and that has been supplemented by trading activity to cover key positions in the January window.

We have also been fortunate to bring some talented back room staff to the club, and I hope that they keep improving. I can see myself with Ceske for a further eighteen months, and I will look to leave in June 2017, after another crack at Europe. I am also keen to see whether there will be any better talent coming through the ranks in the youth squad, because heaven knows the recruits to date have been rubbish....although, selling like hot cakes on the open market.
I had mentioned earlier about Sparta Prague poor performance in the league, and that leaves a Champion Cup spot open, and we have a nine point buffer on the next best team, which hopefully means another season of Champions League football and excessive prize money to boot.

With the prize money and the sale of our "deadwood" players, we have been able to ease the financial strain on the club, so I am a bit flumoxed as to why this wasn't done by the previous manager. I also need to ride our the next year or so to get rid of some of the sodding clauses which kick us each month, and a lesson to those not in the know, don't let your DoF loose with the company credit card....you will be sorry. We are in a situation with Dudas, who admitted is good, but not THAT good, paying 24K a month for the next 17 months, and we are somehow paying him a kings ransom in salary.

I'll be looking carefully at this years recruits to see whether I can flick him and trade upwards on the cheap.
One thing I haven't noticed yet, and I not sure whether it is in this iteration of the game, in the monthly summary, or as part of the transfer screen, when looking up the clauses which are owed or owing, you used to have the option to "sell the clause".

Has anyone been able to do this yet in FM13? Or is it just that my Board have not exercised the option yet?
