I was quite pleased with the players who eventually decided to come ply their trade with us, it was extremely hard work to scout given the rep of the Czech League and our dire finances meant that I couldn't drop a mill on a player, or spent unnecessarily.

I have a couple of players coming in the next few months, and then I will be happier with the squad.

Our first win of the season, a 3-0 thumping of Karvina, ensured we started the season strongly but it has come at a huge price with both left back Müller and central midfielder Lichaba both badly injured and out for up to two months with fractured wrists.

Central defender Jozack is also out for two weeks with a gashed leg.

I am scrambling now to find a specialist left back as a replacement for Müller on the open market as my other quality player does not arrive until Jan 16.

Europe hangs in the balance now too.
Meanwhile, we play Levski in the third round of qualifying.
SK Dynamo České Budějovice will be away to second division side Viktoria Zizkov in the first round of the Czech FA Cup.
My Ass Man has been encouraged by the development of midfielder Cajic, and feels that he is ready for more first team football. He might very well get his wish with a nasty injury lay off for Lachaba.

A win is a win, and Medina had an off day at the office, but we still prevailed 1-0, with everything to play for in the second away leg.

I'm reasonably happy considering that injuries and suspensions ruined the buildup.

My Ass Man has been impressed by young keeper Mujkic, and just quietly, I have been as well.
If I wasn't sure which one of my strikers to sell, Strasky has made it easy by complaining to the media about wanting a new challenge.

July 2015 review

55% Board approval rating (“Secure”)

New signings have bedded in well

Well within wage and salary budgets

Profit of 2.7M for month, but this largely due to players’ sales of 2.8M (also included circa 550K on purchases)

Undefeated through month, with three Europe fixtures, becoming the Czech Super Cup holders and currently second on the league ladder on GD.

Young defender Ctvrtnicek, backup striker Mandula and solid Medina has impressed back room staff in training.
Im liking this story man. Will be following.

Decent away thumping of Bohemians 1905, which was newsworthy due to a hat-trick to striker Savic. We got sloppy towards the end and missed a few tackles, one of which resulted in a goal against us, but satisfied with the 1-4 win.

Glad you are enjoying the story Fabio, it took me a wee while to get used to it myself, but I can say I am enjoying it too. Thanks for commenting. :-)

While our ticket prices remain the same, GBP3 for a gate sale and GBP41 for a season pass, I can at least take heart that we sold 2,118 this season which is up from 1,780 last term.

We must be doing something right!
I am majorly surprised at the way my "average" under 21 players have been attracting what I would deem almost reckless bids. However, who I am to say no, particularly with the club in the financial state that it is in.
