Gonzalez announce a new signing

Recently promoted Tenerife have jumped into the market after their leading striker Aridane, left the team. The Tenerife manager, Raul Gonzalez, has announced the signings of former Betis goalkeeper Casto. The Tenerife manager said," It is a great signing for us, as we want to challenge Sergio (Aragoneses) into the #1 shirt." He later added," Aragoneses will be challenged, because Casto is a great keeper that has played at the top level of Spanish football. It will be interesting who will be playing first this season." Aragoneses responded calmly to Gonzalez' signing and told AS," Casto is a great friend of mine. I've seen him play before and he deserves to be here. He played for Betis last season and with Pepe Mel, so he has been taught well." This perhaps signals the end of Roberto's time here at Tenerife, who has played second fiddle to Aragoneses last season. Whether this will happen, remains unknown.
