Sarpong joins Hercules and Raul rages

In a shock move at Tenerife, Jeffrey Sarpong has left Tenerife to join Hercules. Sarpong, who joined Tenerife barely a year ago, left the club in an attempt to play in a higher level. Raul, the Tenerife manager told MARCA," I don't like this move at all. Jeffrey was signed for a reason to stay here for more than a year. But, with our unstable finances, we had to sell him and when Hercules came knocking with a bid around £200,000, the chairman insisted to accept. When the press asked Raul how Sarpong felt he responded angrily," Ask him yourself." The manager hasn't talked to the press since.

Hard luck losing Sarpong. Hopefully losing him won't hurt you too much.

Sarpong responds to Raul's comments

Jeffrey Sarpong has responded to Raul's recent comments of his departure. The Dutch midfielder responded," I wanted to play back in the Liga BBVA. I only accepted the contract of Tenerife because I needed a club." The midfielder added," I think that my transfer has pleased everybody except the manager, Raul. He saw me as a key-player this season, but I wanted to give the Liga BBVA another chance, and Hercules gave it to me." When Raul heard this comments he said," I apologize to the media, after reacting on such a bad way last time." He then added," Sarpong is an average player who gave us some transfer fee and extra wage. I think that we will get better players with his transfer fee and his wage he earned here." He ended the conference saying," Most players are better than Sarpong."

Raul signs four new players

The Tenerife manager has spent almost the whole month looking for some replacements after Yeray, Cristo Martin, Aridane and Jesus left the clubs on free transfers. The second player to join in the 'Gonzalez Era' was Dejan Milovanovic. The Serbian midfielder accepted the deal given by the former Spanish striker. The deal consists of a 1.5k wage per week for a year, with an automatic extension if he reaches the landmark of 30 matches in the league. The player is over the moon and has been seen all over Tenerife with his children.

The other signing is a familiar face in Tenerife, who played under Gonzalez last season. We are speaking of former Wigan midfielder Albert Crusat. The midfielder had a fruitful spell at Tenerife, racking up 9 goals and assisting another 14. The midfielder commented on his Twitter," #It's good to be back here at Tenerife! Tenerife for the win! But, when he met the press conference, it was even better. He said," It's great to be back here at Tenerife. It's a great place and the people as well. Raul told me that I would lower my wages and I don't even care. I just want to keep playing.

Albert Crusat

The third signing is a player well-known in the lower-leagues of England. The player we are talking about has played in Italy as well. Guly do Prado has impressed the Real Madrid legend into signing him on a permanent deal, after he took his chance on his four week trial. The Brazilian player is excited to work under Raul Gonzalez, a player he has admired over the years. During his last season at Southampton, he played five matches and scored two goals. This also impressed the Tenerife manager, after he boasts a 10 goal record in 42 games the season before.

What looks to be the final signing for Tenerife is defensive minded midfielder Antonio Tomas. The midfielder was subject to a trial at Tenerife, but he rejected. Once this happened, Raul rejected the midfielder and left it all to the last minute, signing him on the last days of the Spanish transfer window. The defensive midfielder is likely to move Obodai from the first-team. Obodai only sees the new signing as a challenge. He said," It's a great signing for the team, and the boss talked to me. I'll admit it, I'm not getting any younger and it's extremely hard to continue playing at this level." He added," Maybe he'll challenge me or I will challenge him. Who knows?"

2013-03-16 15:19#85053 Jamesg237 : A few mixed results recently Pauker! However, your story writing is very good so keep it up and keep up the good performances and a winning streak will come your way very soon.

Here's your answer. Jk. Thanks for the comment. This also goes for all of you Tenerife supporters! I'd like to thank Neal, Jason, Patrick, Arvind, James and Madrista, who have commented the most. Though, I'd like to mention Northwood, who inspired me to do a LLM story.
Here's his story, give it a chance, because it's fricking good! http://www.fmscout.com/q-7184-CD-Constancia-Trading-places.html

Tenerife announce ANOTHER two signings

Tenerife have announced another two signings with two players who have played at the top level. Vicente, who has played for Valencia and new Israeli international Daniel de Ridder. Daniel de Ridder holds invaluable experience in the Eredvisie. Raul Gonzalez told the press," Both players are of great caliber and hold invaluable experience in the Liga BBVA and the Eredvisie." He added," Vicente has played at Brighton and in Valencia, which adds a great player with us. Then, de Ridder is a player that will bring the team closer and shows how we the staff has worked by finding this players."

Daniel de Ridder

Review

First, the transfers. I'm really pleased with the players we got. Two major coups, as we got two great players. Crusat and Vicente who can tutor players and play key part in our push for promotion. Plus, we have players who have played at the top level in the EPL and the BBVA. Daniel de Ridder brings invaluable experience with the player being a regular in the Eredvesie.

Now, onto the results. The results were awful, but we conceded two goals, which shouldn't have stood against Real Madrid. We do need another striker, as all of these matches Yeste was playing as our main striker. We only have Saul apart from Yeste, so a loan signing might be in the cards in January.
