Camano announced as New skipper

Argentine Center half Martin Camano has been made skipper by boss Matt Wells. Camano won player of the year last season and is one of Eastleigh FCs key players.
Fans favorite Oskar Martin has been named as Vice-Captin and the striker has announced his intentions to end his career at the Silverlake. Martin has scored 58 league goals in 3 seasons after joining from the lower leagues of Spain.

Transfers

We have been quite active in the market and we have strengthened the squad in key positions.

We started with the free signing of player/coach Neil Kilkenny who is still a quality player and is a great coach. Neil is a CM and I shall be using him as a rotation player when better players are tired.

We then loaned Cuba Akpom from Arsenal. Cuba is a quality young player and can develop well. It will be hard for him to start over Oskar Martin and Grabban but I want to use him as an impact sub and he will be used in games against bottom half teams.

Stephane Zubar joined us on a free and he is a great addition to the squad. He is one of my best defenders and CB is the strongest position in the squad at the moment so I will look to use that and try to keep as many clean sheets as possible.

A controversial signing follows with the purchase of El-hadj Diouf. Known mostly for the trouble that follows him. He is a quality player though and I will use him on the wings and he will play up front if there is any injuries.

We then loaned James Spencer from Huddersfield. James is a great striker and can be a big asset this season.

Domanique Pandor signed from AS Monaco on a free transfer. He is a good winger but will only be used as a backup player this season but can develop well and be a good asset to the club.

Adil Nabi then signed for £80K and is a quality signing and will be a starter for me all season long. His value has already increased £300K.

Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill signed on a free and is a young and talented LB but I will be loaning him out so he can develop more and become a very good player in the future.

Theo Wharton signed for Eastleigh on loan from Cardiff until the End of the season. Theo is a talented player and I will look to purchase him if he performs well for us this season.

Joao Teixeria was signed on a free transfer and is a great addition to the squad and can bring some Portuguese flair into the squad which will be valuable to the squad throughout the season.

We rounded off the transfers with the signing of Lescinel Jean-Francois. He is a quality LB and was signed for a very cheap price in my opinion. Jernade Meade was not good enough to be a starter for me so I needed a quality LB and he can lead this club to glory.

Today we look at Npower League 2 and one of its new members, Eastleigh FC. This season will be the Spitfires first in league football and it will be a tough one for ‘rookie’ manager Matt Wells. They are favourites to go down and we have predicted they will finish 24th in the league. We asked a lower league expert about the team from down south.

“The team is known to rely too much on forward Oskar Martin and he will not be good enough to save them from relegation. They have former Scotland Kepper Craig Gordon in their squad and he will have to be excellent to keep them up. They will be thrashed every game and I can see them getting no more than 20 points all season. They may have financial backing but that will not be good enough for the young squad”.

I put down the scything report and I was fuming. How could someone say that about MY team and MY club. I could only do one thing and that was to win the league and gain promotion. I was going to shut people up and I was going to take Eastleigh to the top so we can beat everyone and we will do it in style. And with 3 trophies in 3 seasons I was hardly a rookie manager. SO GUESS WHAT FOOTBALL. WERE COMING FOR YOU.

August-September Update

We have been excellent in the league and we have had some great results.

We started the season with a draw against Hartlepool. We went 2-0 down but we fought back well and it was a great start to our league season. We had 58% of the possession so we dominated most of the game. We then crashed out of the Capital One Cup with a defeat away at Stevenage. I am not too disappointed as this cup is not a priority at all this season. We then had to play AFC Wimbledon and it was the best performance I have ever seen. We went 2-0 down again early on but new signing Nabi who has been excellent put in a good performance to help us fight back to win our first game of the season. We then lost to Rochdale. This may sound strange but I was happy to lose because it would bring the team back down to earth and we would not get carried away. 2 good wins followed against Southend and Southport before we crashed out of the JPT with a defeat to Wycombe and we were awful. It was a horrid performance but again I was not aiming to do well in the Competition again. We then went on a 6 game unbeaten run with wins against Crewe, Leyton Orient, Port Vale and Burton and we also drew with Barnet and York. The game with Burton we were on a different level and with Cuba Akpom on fine form we were excellent.

League Table

We sit comfortably in the automatic promotion places and I believe we have the quality to finish in the top 7 this season. We have a game in hand so I want to make the most of that and stay in the promotion places for as long as we can.

Players of the Month

Martin Camano has been excellent so far and is my best player so far this season. He is a great leader and has taken the armband well of retired Glen Southam.

Adil Nabi has been great so far and is looking a good signing for us and he can take us up the league if he carries banging them in.

Manager of the Month

I claimed this award after a great September and the players have been excellent so far and I want to keep this form up all season.

This update is a lot bigger due to the face I have hardly put any detail into my posts recently.
Thank you.

Spencer Terminates loan

James Spencer has had his loan at Eastleigh Terminated after a joke about his bald head was made by manager Matt Wells. The striker only made 1 appearance for the Spitfires but never scored. Wells apparently shouted ‘Oi baldy’ and this was taken offensively by the loanee striker. James later said “I will never have respect for him again and the comment was highly inappropriate”.
Keep pushing for promotion, I know that you can do it! :)

Well, that's a weird reason to terminate a loan :))

HAHA Ino wanted it to be wired.
Hi guys I will be taking a small break from the story as I dont have time to write at the moment as I have alot of school work to do but I may be updating at the weekend depending on how much work I can get done. I have exams soon so I will take another break later on. SORRY GUYS.
Hi guys I will be back writing my story later on but I wanted to take some time to tell you guys about me ambitions in life. I have played football for 9 years and only played for 1 club. I made 164 appearances for them and was captin for 3 of them years after the team was reshaped massively. I realised I was not going to become a professional but I wanted to stay in Football. I thought about sport psychology and I took that as a GCSE. I realised I didn’t want to do that. I am a born leader and everyone says that and then I realised that coaching was calling me. I am now working towards gaining my first coaching badges and I really really want to be a professional coach or even a manager. I know it will be hard but this is the only thing in my life I care about so this will be the only thing I will put 100% effort into. I have my own ideas and my own vision on how a team should play and how clubs should be run. I make reports on games I watch and I analyse the smallest of details in the game. I know that not many people believe I can do it and my mum thinks it’s a stupid idea but I know that anything is possible, especially in football. I believe I am destined to become somebody and I want to make that happen. I want to be known as someone who can revolutionize a team from nothing into something great. So please guys, help me and give me support that is all I am asking of you and remember in years to come if you hear of Matt Wells, just remember that you knew him as a young boy who had a dream.

Thank you very much FM SCOUT if I can do it I will always remember you guys as people who were just great guys and that always looked out for each over.
Good luck, I expect to see you on FM14 :P
