Transfers

We have been quite busy in the transfer market and we have done some good deals to bring good players into the club.
Brooks-Meade, Rory McKenzie and Grant Gillespie joined from Scottish football and all 3 of these players will be key players for the team this season. I knew we needed a new striker so I brought in Makengo who is a quality player for this division and he can be a big part of the clubs future. Billy Knott joined from Sunderland and he is a young and talented CM. N’ Doumbou joins from OM and he is a very exciting and talented winger who can help the club in the future.
You are doing a fantastic job mate, it won’t be long until your in the Premiership.

Wow thanks mate I realy want to get there and my next post will be about my new aims.
Great update Wellsy. This story has the potential to be one of the best here at FMScout! Even inspired myself to do a 'sort of' LLM :P

Dare To Dream?

With 3 promotions in 4 seasons something special is going on at Eastleigh FC. I have changed my ambitions for the future of this club and by God they are ambitious. We are higher than the club has ever been and I want this fairy-tale to continue. I want the club to rise like Wigan and I want to be as successful as Sir Alex. This club can go all the way and I want to make that happen, not for me but for the fans and people of this great club. We can do it and we can be one of the best teams this country has ever seen. We are working on a massive project at Eastleigh FC and that I can’t discuss to anyone at all but it will become obvious soon. When the time is right the work that has been done at this football club will be shown and we will RULE THE WORLD.
Sir. Matt Wells.

I can see it now.

HAHA Sounds quite good Sir Matt Wells. Cheers mate.

August/September

We have started the new season well in my opinion but we need to improve in some key areas also.

We started the season in blistering from and we beat Doncaster and Bournemouth in the league who are both favourites to be promoted. We also beat Plymouth to reach the next round of the COC Cup. We then suffered a defeat but then came the best game in the history of the club. We had drawn Premier League QPR at home and I knew we had a chance. 4-3. 4 bloody 3. I was over the moon and the lads deserved it. There were times when the got back in the match and should have won but a mistake by the GK from a Pandor shot sealed the deal late on. WE then hit a bad patch and we did not win in 6 games which is a big disappointment for us and we found ourselves near the relegation zone. We knew we had to beat Charlton and Plymouth to climb the table and we did. In both games we were excellent and I am very proud of the team.

League Table

2 games ago we were fighting relegation but 2 wins guides us back into the play-off hunt.
An OK start, could do with improvement though.

Ino mate not too disappointing tho due to it being our first season.
You're doing very well considering this is your first year in League One. Every season is all about improving from the last, which you are doing :)

Cheers mate. I am trying to build a team also around my Tika Taka style of play so I dont expect results all of the time.

Oskar Martin ‘Homesick’

Eastleigh legend Oskar Martin is reportedly homesick and is on a flight to return to Spain. Manager Matt Wells says he will give him his full support and will help him whenever he can. Matt and Oskar who are the same age are very close friends so Matt will want Oskar Martin to return and get back to form again as he is only 18 goals away from becoming Eastleigh FC record all time goal scorer.

October/November

We have been a lot better and we have got some great results.

Well what can I say? We have been excellent. In every game we have fought for our lives and we have been too good for some teams. We lost a few games but the wins made up for it. We are also through to the F.A Cup 3rd round which is a great achievement for the club and we will play Plymouth. But is this just a fluke and will we return to the mid table position.

League Table

We are now right up there and we are doing excellently and I am so proud of them. Middlesbrough are running away with the title so everybody else is battling for 2nd place.
