Tactics and training help.

ok, thanks for the reply. I am still playing the demo and saw those options. I tried setting them to see what some would do for the players. Is there somewhere i can search to find an explanation of the PPM's? What they do for each position? I understand not to abuse them, but like you pointed out if you have someone young enough to learn one and want to mold him to the style of play it would be nice to choose the right one.

I seem to be having the same problem as everyone else, my strikers aren't scoring either, i just finished my 1st season with parma and of my 3 strikers (Lucarelli, Paloschi and Vantaggiato) they only scored about 20 goals between them.

I usually swap between 4-3-3 and 4-4-2 but not had much joy with either

Ive always played as Liverpool in FM, but this year I seem to have slight problems with my Strikers scoring, I get the the final ball to the striker (Either Torres, Aguero, Keane or Mario Balotelli) Just failing to beat the Keeper. Any Reccomendations of Tactics or anything to help me get these guys Getting me back to 1st!

Maybe the problems people are having aren't the tactics but maybe its just one hell of a bug. I've had problems too with Manchester United, when I play at home against Stoke or Hull I mostly end up getting a really late goal or just the one point..... And this is happening with Rooney, Berbatov and Ronaldo in forward positions:con I always get like 30 shots with 20 on target in these games whilst the away team doesn't even come near my penalty area. But sometimes (on a rare occaision) they get one shot in and what do you know.... they score:fu
But the weird thing is that when I play against Chelsea away my strikers score freely and we win 2-0 or 4-0 against Liverpool=D:yes

i seemed to have the same problems with my strikers before.

But i was wrong, because they are scoring now. I think it is tactical, because i have been changing slightly all the time seeing how to get the best out of them etc.

at times you might have forgotten to make ur wingers and full back to cross to the target man or something. and that does play a part in the game as well.

BUT it is as u said fackman, 20 shots on goals maybe 5 of them 1v1 and 10 half chances and still no goals. That can happen a bit too much in the game it seems.

from what i have seen is that i just "balanced" out my tactic a bit more.

I need some help with the training. I play with U Cluj(a team from Romania), and i need a good training. I tried to make my own, but my players haven't grown, and now I am starting the third season with this team, so i need your help. Anywone can help?

You just have to think logically when it comes to training schedules. Where do attackers have to be good in ..... Shooting and attacking of course so you put them on attacking training intensive etc. It's not that hard.

Hey guys, im a little confused during a match my assistant manager always tell me how there's gap between the midfield and the defence?
because the the tactic i was using was just the standard 422. i altered the positions of my players like bring it down to DM yet the comment still is there.
And there's also time where he said the gap between midfield and attackers made the midfield useless on the attack?

i even changed the player's instruction but still the comment persist. or maybe the comment is normal and not unusual?

and what does show on weaker foot mean? hehe, i'm still new so am not used to the terms.

Show on to weaker foot means your players will try to force the opposition players onto their weaker foot when they have the ball, be it the left or right foot. So if you set this on a winger it will hopefully lower the number of deadly crosses coming in.

theres 2 wingers and 2 strikers.

My problem is making fabregas get assists Ive put him on only through balls longshots and through balls.

Denilson seems to get goals when there sitting there.

Help please should I increase the creativity?

well dont let fabregas to shoot always
let him have "mixed" on longshots.

make his passing style to "mixed".

OK, mates, I have a problem, well not exactly a real problem... I play with West Ham and I have never won with more than 1 goal margin. Not that I don't win, in 9 games i have 5-3-1 score and I'm third. But my problem is, my team doesn't play convincingly enough. My forward is often overrun, and I only make three or four good chances in a match. And another silly thing, against better teams I win (won against Chelsea and drawed with Aston Vila and Liverpool), but against weaker teams I win but I don't win because I played better, I win because I made my only chance in a match... So you get my problem??? Some of them will say wheres the problem while you keep winning but I want to dominate the matches at least against weaker teams...

You probably know West Ham first team (I'm to lazy to write all of them), I haven't bought really anyone because I have 1.25 mil transfer budget, I play 4-1-2-2-1:
