in weather conditions where the pitch could be wet or muddy i let my defensive line hang back a bit set passing to direct

any pointers for tempo in this situation?

and what to do in windy conditions? what about snow? players respond different to cold?
Has anyone got any good instructions for attacking corners. I'm fine with defending them and when attacking them teams don't clear the ball and run up the other end and score but I got some good players in the air and I can't seem to score form corners.
I tell my set piece taker to aim at the 6 yard box and send one player to attack each post and tell my best header to challenge the keeper,he will score depending on how good his heading, jumping, anticipation, and strength stats are.
i do well with mine

i get my best headers to challenge keeper (both centre backs) get another good header to near post flick. set the taker to aim 6 ard box. i score plenty from this!

Seems like a great tactic for corners. I'm going to give it a try too.
So, I've just started using the Queiroz Asymmetric tactic from the TTF. Anyone else use it? What are your thoughts on it? What kind of players do you use? I'm having problems deciding on my left mid, the two AM's and the Striker--especially the striker. Not sure if I should be playing a targetman or a speedy player. Thoughts?
I have used it. I manage Parma, i saw that i was giving away too many goals so changed my tactic, it was also good attacking lots of crosses you are going to need a real good striker to be succesfull. When i used it i had Skjelbred as AMC and Tom for AMR, also had Archubi on the left. I had Paloschi who is a fast pacey striker, maybe thats why i didnt succed with this tactic.
I would recommend have real good fullbacks as they will join attack and will have to drop fast. i used Marcinho Guerreiro to play the DM role he did ok.
Your AM should also be pacey, good crosses and acceleration.
I used it on One of my games i think it was the liverpool one. I won the league unfortunaly lost to inter in UCL finals and won F.A cup. with only 6 losses throughout the whole league and cups

I have a great tactic for the bigger clubs. I'm AC Milan and won the treble i my third season and I have not lost in over 40 games approaching the end of the fouth season.

I selected a 4-2-4 att from the tactics list and changed it to a 4-4-2 with the same team instructions. Against the bigger teams I lower the defensive line and sometimes I move the defensive CM down to a DM as well. Focus your passing to down both flanks. I have only conceeded 6 goals in 28 mathces and scored around 50 goals.

This is my starting formation:

GK - Ustari
LB - Veloso
CB - Fazio
CB - Machluof (unreal payer)/Zapata
RB - Abbas (unreal player)/Zapata

LM - Ronaldo/Cristian Rodriguez - depends on how tired they are
CM - Pjanic/Flamini - This is the more offensive CM
CM - Flamini/Camacho - This is the more defensive CM
RM - Messi/Ronaldo - depends on how tired they are

ST - Agüero
ST - Pato

If you're wondering where Kaka is, then the answer is Chelsea. I needed some changes and I rather sell him in FM than watching him in a Man City shirt in real life!!!

Tell me if the tactic is working for you guys :)
its alright on the game kaka is a bad player, selling him is the wisest choice.
how much did you pay for C.Ronaldo and Messi? and Veloso at LB, din't know he was effective there.
fazio is great
he scores a lot from set pieces..(he's 195 cm, heading 20)
he can play as dm too...

Well Kaka played great for me in the first couple of seasons but was injuried a lot in my current season.

I paid Messis release clause - £45 M i think??
And I paid around £80 M for Ronaldo. I can post an overview of my squad and transfers during the years in a coupleof days?

And Veloso is superb as LB! :)

Fazio is great but I told him not to throw himself into to tackles/sliding tackles because otherwise he's booked a lot! :)
messi has a release clause of £120M?!?!?
micah : messi has a release clause of £120M?!?!?

it can get less with new contract etc.
