2013-04-09 00:55#90881 The Madridista : Great signings mate, Rahfina, gervinho, Machedo, and Gomes are brilliant. Poor results so far, bit I'm confident you can turn it around. Good Luck and I'm loving this story! :D

As always :P Thanks mate

Málaga CF: September

Sevilla 3-3 Málaga

We did brilliant to come from 2 goals down, but a late, controversial penalty saw our bad luck continue and we still needed to win in the league.

Málaga 1-0 Rubin Kazan

A good performance from the team in general, which was a large difference from when I was playing in the league. A good goal from Niang on his debut helped us on our way through.

Numancia 3-2 Málaga

A shocking start which saw 3 mistakes lead to 3 goals inside the first 10 minutes. I got going, but it was too late to level the match and I had lost again. However, I was dominating possession, as all the other matches.

Málaga 3-1 Mallorca

We finally picked up a win in La Liga, with a double from Macheda and a strike from left-back Lago, helping us to our first win.

Great first win in the Europa!

Thanks mate, Liverpool in a min :/

Málaga CF: October

Liverpool 0-1 Málaga

We did brilliantly to pick up an away win at Anfield, Rafinha scoring late on to give us the lead and the 3 points. We had dominated possession, but done nothing with it unfortunately.

Málaga 2-0 Villareal

An early bath for Weligton in the 8th minute meant that most of the game would be played with 10 men. However, Macheda scored twice with only 20 minutes or so to go in the match and we picked up another league win.

Málaga 0-0 Valencia

A fairly average goalless draw at home to Valencia seemed a fair result to me, but I would have hoped for a win instead.

Karpaty 2-4 Málaga

A surprisingly tough away victory in Ukraine, where Rafinha scored a great hat-trick. We had 80% possession so I'm not sure how we conceded so many.

Barcelona 1-0 Málaga

A very unlucky loss at the Nou Camp, where Iturra was sent off in added time for a second yellow card. We conceded of a late corner, and unfortunately didn't get enough shots away.

Cadiz 0-0 Málaga

A disappointing draw away at our local rivals Cadiz. We didn't create any chances really, and a team weakened by suspensions could not break them down well enough.

Great result in Europa, I can see you're starting to turn around your results in the league! :D

It's all finally coming together now :)

We can bring you official news today that Málaga CF boss Joe Dowley has reportedly met with Málaga CF officials at the club's ground, La Rosaleda, this morning. The talks are reportedly said to be over the Englishman's future at the club.

The club are playing well in Europe, but have been struggling in the league and sit just one place above the relegation zone. Málaga chairman Abdullah Al-Thani has come out with a statement in the last hour:'We had agreed with Joe Dowley that he would take us to continental qualification through the league.

'So far though, we believe that he is not performing well enough as manager of the club. I hope, along with the board, that Joe can change results soon and we can keep him at the club, because he (Dowley) is a great character.'

It remains to be seen just how long the ex-Londoner has left at the Costa del Sol club, although a tough string of results now over, fans will be hoping to gain points int the near future.
Unlucky mate, but I hope the board will reconsider :/

Hopefully, I only play clubs around me in the league now: all the top half clubs out of the way :)

Málaga CF: November

Real Madrid 2-1 Málaga

Really very unfortunate to lose, after leading 1-0 away at the Bernabeu. I took 2 quick counters led by Ronaldo to score against us, an ultimately we ended up losing.

Málaga 2-0 Karpaty

A good performance, picking up a solid victory at home against the Ukrainians.

Málaga 3-1 Real Sociedad

A really good match, the players all played well, and Mariga picked up his first goal for the club with a 30 yard screamer.

Deportivo 2-4 Málaga

Definitely not struggling for goals this month, picking up another win and another 4 goals to help even out our goal difference.

Málaga 1-0 Sporting

Failry bland game, with the only goal coming from Captain Fantastic Weligton.

Málaga 5-0 Cadiz

We put the game to bed with 3 goals inside the first 15 minutes, before adding to more late on n the game. A good win over our rivals to leave us in the Copa del Rey.

Zaragoza 0-4 Málaga

Areally great team performance overall, with Baptista picking up 2 goals to help the team. Lago also scored another, taking his tally to 5 from left wing-back.

Rubin Kazan 1-3 Málaga

A great result away in Russia, with Macheda picking up a nice hat-trick. I dominated possession as well, with a lot of shots.

Málaga 1-0 Betis

Good result considering that Betis are above us in the league. A win's a win, and three points helped my run stay intact.

Málaga 1-0 Real Sociedad

A nice way to take a lead into the second leg, with Isco bagging the only goal of the game.

Real Sociedad 2-0 Málaga (Agg. 2-1)

We did not play as well this game, with them scoring a late goal to see them through to the next round. Dominating possession, but we let them get too many shots away in my opinion.

Málaga 1-4 Liverpool

We really did not turn up for this game, with Suarez scoring all 4 goals. I couldn't handle him, and they had sussed how to get the ball from me.

Getafe 1-4 Málaga

A good result, where we turned on the style to score 3 times in the last 20 minutes. A good performance to come after the Liverpool.

We bring you news here today that Spanish club Málaga CF have reportedly agreed and completed a deal to sign Argentinian and Monaco striker Lucas Ocampos.

Ocampos was transfer listed at the French club, after Dowley had reportedly unsettled him through some of the French media. We hear from our sources at both clubs that the fee agreed is around £13M, and with the youngster looking to have a bright future with the Anchovies.

In other Málaga transfer news, we hear that the club have reputedly pulled out of the signing of Denys Garmash from Dynamo Kyiv, who will instead join Stuttgart in the summer on a free transfer. Dowley was said to have been disappointed that he couldn't get his man, but has said that he does not mind about it.

'Yes, we did not get Denys, but he is a great player who I would love to have in my team. I wish him all the best for his future in Germany.'

Going the other way out of Málaga, the sale of goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to Almeria for £1.2M has been completed. The Argentine joined the club only in the summer on a free, but was deemed surplus to requirements. Midfielder Tom Adeyemi has mined Wolves on loan until the end of the season. The ex-Norwich man has struggled for starts this season, with fantastic performances courtesy of McDonald Mariga, Jeremy Toulalan and Manuel Iturra keeping him out of the side.

We have also heard that Czech-Republican giant Libor Kozak may be packing his bags, as Deportivo look set to offer £2M for him. Kozak has also been kept out of the team this season, and with Ocampos joining, he will be further down the pecking order now. However, our sources tell us that the club would love to hold onto him for at least the rest of the season, with many of his teammates responding to the speculation on Twitter, saying that he was a real character and they did not want him gone from the club.
Holy shit mate. You proved that board wrong :)
Haha thanks a lot mate :P
