So now we move onto Bangladesh and it's a very small league so didn't take me very long at all and I'm unsure how the league will go because as i mentioned in previous post they finished 4 last season but i literally think any club in this league can actually win the league as I haven't seen one player in the league valued above £1k so I'm pretty sure it's anyones for the taking and I'm going to make sure it's mine!
Squad at the start of the season
Here is my squad after all the signings and I've made quite a few signings this season as the club needed a fresh look and feel so decided to throw some money around and i have no idea if the players will be any good or not but it was worth a punt from how the squad looked when i took over, I have backup for each position which they didn't last season so that alone as improved the team judging by previous leagues I've been in with suspensions left, right and center.
Transfers at the start of the season
I feel i went a bit silly here to be honest, every player i purchased was valued at £1k so overpaid for most of the players but i had the money to spend and it wasn't going anywhere else so i just offered them between £5k and £20k, in the end i managed to spend around £180k of my £220k budget so in all honestly i brought in so many players and still had money left to buy half of Bangladesh's population but let's face it none of them look very good at all and the main position that worries me is center midfield there wasn't any good players available for that position at all.
With so many new signings i needed to arrange some friendlies before the season started so we had 6 clubs accept a friendly match, all of them was "nearby teams" usually meaning you thrash them 5-0, 6-0 but this wasn't the case and worried me quite a bit after winning 2, losing 1 and drawing 3. The main thing was raising the morale for the forthcoming season.
Finances at the start of the season
Finances still very good, I'm telling you now it's impossible to spend all of your budget in these leagues, impossible! I've managed to raise the average wage by about £30 but still players didn't want that much money at all meaning it was easier to sign players in quick succession.
My key player for the season
Decided to go with Ripon my goalkeeper, he has the highest star rating of all the other players and i will need him this season to prove me right and get some clean sheets, a good goalkeeper in these leagues makes all the difference.
Here are the fixtures.
Finished 1st in the 1st season once again and this is probably a record so far! I wasn't expecting to finish 1st at all especially when they finished 4th last season and expected to finished 2nd this season so it's a great achievement to finish 1st, disappointed i never managed to beat Brothers Union who looked a great side, they beat me 6-1 at one point of the season but obviously didn't have the legs to play cup games as well as league games! time to move on.
Squad at the end of the season
Here is the squad at the end of the season and they all did pretty well, defense was a bit shaky and as i expected the center midfielders wasn't great but they pulled through and go me the title in Bangladesh so I'm more than happy!
Key player of the season
Mohd Khoka Munna ended up being my key player for the season after scoring 14 league goals in 16 appearances and 3 goals in the cup.
Finances at the end
Managed to increase the bank balance somehow!
