Bergomi Returns to the Sideline

Inter Milan manager Giuseppe Bergomi has finally returned to his side after missing 4 days of training due to a personal vacation. He had not taken a single vacation yet in his 3.5 seasons in charge of the Nerazzurri and abruptly decided to take one now midseason with his family.

"It's a bit of a strange decision, I know, but one I'm very pleased with. I feel completely refreshed. I am looking forward to now succeeding in football with Inter, as we are challenging for a number of trophies, and I can promise I am once again fully committed to the cause," said the Italian legend about his quick trip.

Internazionale currently sit 1st in Serie A after winning their first 5 matches in the league and are also tied atop their UEFA Champions League group after a 2-0 win over big-spending PSG. The Nerazzurri are expected to be heavily competitive in each competition and extend their Scudetto streak to 4 as well as bring Bergomi the elusive Champions League crown.
Nice start to the season!

Derby d'Italia: Juventus vs. Inter Milan

Welcome all to Turin here at the Juventus Stadium where the Bianconeri will host league leaders Internazionale in a key match early on in the Serie A season. We are only into the sixth week of football, and yet this could be a key three points between the two teams expected to be the main contenders for the Scudetto yet again. Inter currently lead Serie A by 2 points, but that could all have changed by the end of this match.

Starting Lineups

Key Player for Inter: I'd have to say Mattia Destro will be the most important player for the Nerazzurri. He's been in top goalscoring form so far with 8 goals in all competitions already to his name.

Key Player for Juventus: The key man has to be Sebastian Giovinco for the Bianconeri. His pace and technical ability can cause any defense problems, even the renowned center back pairing of Ranocchia and Bellusci.

Match

0' Were off here, Inter attacking left to right, should be an exciting match!

4' GOAL - Maher slips in Sterling out wide, who surges passed the slower Chiellini. Nice ball in, and Mattia Destro dives onto the ball to score! 1-0 to Inter!

39' GOAL - Pereira has the ball out wide here and finds Insigne. The Italian easily turns passed Isla, and he's through on goal! Excellent finish across Viviano, and Inter lead 2-0!

HT' Inter have absolutely dominated proceedings so far and will hope to continue in this vein of form in the second half. Di Carlo will certainly have some words to say to his side who will look to surge back in the second half, but Inter do not show any signs of slowing down.

54' SAVE - Sebastian Giovinco steps up to take the corner for Juventus. Well whipped in, and Bonucci gets on the end of it... What a save from ter Stegen to keep the ball out, off his fingertips and onto the post!

FT' It's all over here and Inter have beaten Juventus by a scoreline of 2-0. It was an unexpectedly easy victory for the away side, but the Nerazzurri will not complain as they take the 3 points and open a 5 point gap between themselves and the Bianconeri. Thanks for joining us, and see you again next time.

Giuseppe Bellusci
Excellent! That damages Juve's morale which could be vital later on, well done!
