Review
With this relatively simple win over Israel we have guaranteed ourselves first place in our qualifying group. We can start to relax now a little bit, though I want our players to keep their focus up for the remaining matches. Our front 6 players all had fantastic games, and the defense was reasonably solid as well. It was a relaxed match but an effective match, and I'll take it. Magnus Troest made his Denmark debut.

Another nice, easy, relaxed game for us. I gave Jonas Lossl his Denmark debut in goal replacing Schmeichel after we had already clinched first spot in the group, and he performed admirably. Helenius and Eriksen played excellently yet again, and both have been in top form of late for both club and country. For the final ECQ I think I will bring up some younger players and give people chances to impress me.
European Championship Qualifying Group D Review
We are by far the kings of Group D. A very, very simple group to win, but we were professional and easily dispatched each team with ease. I have one remaining fixture against Finland, which we should win yet again should win, and then on to World Cup Qualifiers. Nicklas Helenius and Christian Eriksen especially have impressed me greatly, and though I expect nothing less from Eriksen, Helenius has really stepped up. Bendtner may get a chance against Finland but Helenius looks number 1 right now.
