Great start to the season, well done
k1rups: Conte left Juve to join EPL champions Arsenal so yes, I think with even less competition 100 points should be reclaimed :P

P-KIDDY: Cheers mate, hoping for another good season!

Pretty damn strong team!
those are 2 games you should win easily, especially with this team.
a_esbech: Paradox :P

Inquisition: Yes, good to see so many players in top leagues like the EPL

The Special one: Definitely, anything less than 6 points would be a failure
Any of your Danish players making their way to Inter any time soon? :P

Review
With this relatively simple win over Israel we have guaranteed ourselves first place in our qualifying group. We can start to relax now a little bit, though I want our players to keep their focus up for the remaining matches. Our front 6 players all had fantastic games, and the defense was reasonably solid as well. It was a relaxed match but an effective match, and I'll take it. Magnus Troest made his Denmark debut.

Review
Another nice, easy, relaxed game for us. I gave Jonas Lossl his Denmark debut in goal replacing Schmeichel after we had already clinched first spot in the group, and he performed admirably. Helenius and Eriksen played excellently yet again, and both have been in top form of late for both club and country. For the final ECQ I think I will bring up some younger players and give people chances to impress me.

European Championship Qualifying Group D Review

We are by far the kings of Group D. A very, very simple group to win, but we were professional and easily dispatched each team with ease. I have one remaining fixture against Finland, which we should win yet again should win, and then on to World Cup Qualifiers. Nicklas Helenius and Christian Eriksen especially have impressed me greatly, and though I expect nothing less from Eriksen, Helenius has really stepped up. Bendtner may get a chance against Finland but Helenius looks number 1 right now.

Could we just be rid of Morten Olsen and get you instead?
a_esbech: If that happens I'll be sure to hire you as my translator :P

Deadline Day Drama at Inter

Inter manager Giuseppe Bergomi had a busy transfer deadline day making a big name sale and also bringing in that sale's long term replacement. Left back Yuto Nagatomo left for Bayern Munich for a fee of 15m euros and Lucas Digne signed for Inter from LOSC Lille for an undisclosed fee believed to be around 7.5m euros.

Nagatomo had spent the last 5 seasons plying his trade for Inter and had been a first team regular since the 2011-2012 season and since signing has made 127 Serie A appearances and scored 6 league goals. Last season, however, the Japanese international was relegated to a spot mainly on the bench behind Alvaro Pereira and Gino Peruzzi and now has been moved on to Bayern and their new boss Andre Villas-Boas for a fee of 15m euros.

Lucas Digne has been announced by the Nerazzurri as Nagatomo's replacement and Alvaro Pereira's long term replacement. The pacey wing back has spent the last 3 seasons on loan at Olympiakos and then twice at Anderlecht and has been given no chances with his actual club LOSC Lille. Inter have now swooped in for the 22 year old and signed him for an undisclosed fee. Media believes it to be around 7.5m euros, and the Frenchman has been given Nagatomo's number 21 jersey.

Bergomi had this to say about his new man. "Lucas [Digne] is a great footballer with a great future. With players like Alvaro Pereira to learn from here I think he can become a star for the club."
Getting a replacement for a benchwarmer? :S

Nagatomo did well for me in a couple of seasons at Aston Villa. But well, Inter & Villa are different, I guess? :/

Good luck with Digne!
Glenn T: Nagatomo did pretty well for me as well, but Alvaro Pereira has been phenomenal and so he lost his spot. I also needed a long term left back replacement and Digne fit the bill so I brought him in. Cheers :)
Digne could become a leading left back.
