P-KIDDY: That's the plan!

Inter Suffer Injury Woes

In what has come as a very unwelcome blow to Inter's chances, two first team players have been ruled out for upcoming matches due to injuries sustained in training. Bergomi will by now be used to injury problems having had a number of first team players injured over the season last campaign and the master of squad rotation will surely find a way through.

The more severe of the two injures falls upon superstar French midfielder Yann M'Vila. M'Vila is expected to be out 2-3 months with a damaged achilles tendon. The holding midfielder is considered one of Inter's best players and his loss will surely be a bitter blow to Inter's chances. The Nerazzurri do have quality backup, though, and veteran club captain Esteban Cambiasso and youngster Lorenzo Crisetig will certainly both get chances to impress.

The second injury is far less severe. Algerian winger Ryad Boudebouz, who signed on a free transfer from Sochaux-Montbe this summer, has been afflicted with a twisted knee, and will miss 2 weeks. Boudebouz has enjoyed a decent start to his Inter career but has mainly been used as an impact substitute, and Bergomi should be able to keep his wide players competitive with Raheem Sterling, Philippe Coutinho, and Lorenzo Insigne all more than capable.

Tough break with the injuries, but hopefully they shouldn't trouble you too much :D
Ouch, tough luck with the injuries to two great players. Hopefully however you can continue on strongly without them.
I had Crisetig in my FM 12 save with Man Utd. Bought him young, used him mainly as a BBM. He was pretty good. Thoust hast good backup, brother. And if the fates will, you shalt yet prevail thy noble quest!
Good signing in Digne! What's Santon up to these days in your save?? You always end up getting a tough run of injuries too!

SuperFrankieLampard: I think I'll be okay, we'll see

edu1878: Cheers, hopefully we do alright

Gurdit: I think Crisetig could be a star, hopefully he plays well. Thy support bringest great pleasure to me. The fates shalt ever be against me, and yet falleth I will not.

k1rups: He made a 22.5m euro move to Tottenham at the beginning of last season so is probably going to stay there unless I offer quite a sum. And yes, injuries always seem to be a problem lately :/
unlucky with those 2 injuries, I'm sure you'll cope without them.
The Special one: Cheers buddy

A very solid road win for us. Who else to score but my Italian forwards who have been outstanding, Insigne and Destro. As a really great coach once said, "Pass it to the Italians." Defensively we also looked solid, and perhaps most importantly Lorenzo Crisetig played very well in the holding role as a deeper lying player.

Yet another solid away win for the Nerazzurri. Mattia Destro yet again scored twice, he looks just as amazing as last season, and hopefully he can continue to score at this brilliant rate. Our defenders also had outstanding games, and Lucas Digne had a good debut.

To be perfectly honest, Roma gave this game to us. The team from the capital gave us quite some trouble at times and held their own very well, and we struggled to break them down. However, their defenders made 2 individual errors and my strike force was ready to pounce and we stole the 3 points that coming into the match I thought would be much easier to claim.

Inter 5-0 Catania

Serie A
Starting XI (4-1-2-1-2)
ter Stegen; Mbaye, Luiz, Bellusci, Digne; Crisetig (c); Gautier, Sissoko; Maher; Insigne, Ademilson

Pereira, Coutinho, Destro

Match
Ademilson (17, 63, 68, 74)
Insigne (59)

Man of the Match
Ademilson

Well, this was a one man show, but not the one man you'd be expecting. With an important match against Juventus coming up to close out the month, I opted to rest Destro and give Ademilson his third appearance and only his first start of the season, and he has given me a right selection dilemma for Turin by banging in a massive 4 goals. I can't wait to watch this battle for the spots up top unfold between my top class strikers.

Serie A

Out to a perfect start in Serie A but Juventus are only 2 points behind, and the trickiest game of the season is next as we play the Bianconeri in Turin. It is still early days in the campaign but it is my philosophy that you need to start well to set the standard for the season.

UEFA Champions League

Early days in the group stage as well, but now we've won the hardest game of the group, away to PSG, and that puts us in the driver's seat in the group. Our upcoming match after Juventus is hosting Sion, which should be a very easy win if we stay focused.

Player of the Month

Mattia Destro wins player of the month this time around after yet another fantastic month. His tally is now 8 goals in 6 matches, a Messi-like rate of scoring. If he keeps this up we are in for another 40+ goal season, and maybe even 50!

Monthly Review

Overall, this was absolutely the perfect month for us. We scored 12 goals and conceded a brilliant 0 goals in 4 matches, all of which we won. Mattia Destro and Lorenzo Insigne have been in top notch form, and Ademilson has taken his chances as phenomenally as possible. Every facet of the team is working like a perfectly oiled machine, and I can only hope this form keeps up for the remainder of the season.
