Good dealing to get Alaba and to sell Mertesacker for so much, unlucky to lose Monreal for so cheap though.

Great signings. I wonder why you didn't offer Monreal a contract though. Nevertheless, a great replacement.
i knew i'd be able to replace him with Alaba so it wasn't much of a loss
Arsenal Taste Cup Success
Arsenal 3 - 1 Manchester United
Arsenal lifted the Capital One Cup today to the delight and relief of Gunner fans, It is Arsenals first trophy in 9 years, and the fans have demanded that there should be more to come.
Le Fondre guided his team from only the semi-finals having taken over in late december of 2013, and has thanked Arsene Wenger for doing the work he did to keep them in it until he took the helm.
Arsene did a great job, I mean lets face it he took us from the preliminary rounds right through to the Semi-Finals, and I just finished it off by taking us that bit further.
Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere struck for Arsenal to secure the cup after going 1-down to Manchester United. Things looked grim for Arsenal up until half time, with United dominating in all areas which grabbed them a goal in the 32nd minute. They were controlling possession and creating far more chances than Arsenal. But after half-time Arsenal came straight out of the blocks and kept pressurizing United and a breakthrough came through Jack Wilshere on the 62nd minute when a lovely darting run across the box and a lovely strike from 18-yards brought the equaliser. Just 5-minutes later Arsenal were gifted their second when a bad pass from Michael Carrick left Olivier Giroud with a short dash through to goal and an easy one-on-one with David De Gea. United looked as though they may claw one back in the late minutes but a failed attempt on goal on 91 minutes left Arsenal on a surging counter attack and Theo Walcott closing the game and securing the cup for Arsenal.
Arsenal last won the FA Cup in 2005, Captained by Patrick Viera and filled with young youth talent like Cesc Fabregas and a 21 year-old Van Persie
Arsenal extend gap to 11 and Le Fondre praises Wilshere
After a truly outsanding match between Arsenal and Southampton, Le Fondre was quick to praise Jack Wilshere for his performances since Santi Cazorla was ruled out for 3 to 4 months
Jack has been sensational, He's been working hard, leading the team in the absence of Santi he's been putting that extra shift in midfield and playing a little more forward on the field than perhaps he would like. Earlier in the season when I joined the club, We spoke about his game and he told me how he'd much prefer being played deeper in the pitch as a box-to-box midfielder and we have been training and working hard to get him suited to that role, But with the absence of Santi he has had to play in that number-10 role and he has been a revelation. He has scored 7 goals in his past 6 appearances, that for a attacking midfielder at this level is superb.
Jack Wilshere was quick to respond to his managers praise
I've just been doing what i've had to do, nothing more, nothing less I am glad that the boss is pleased with my performances but it's down to him. He's got the team playing well the football we are presenting is fluid and vibrant and I think the whole team are showing that in their performances not just me
Arsenal ran out 4-3 winners today at the Emirates and have stretched the gap to 11 at the
top of the table with Manchester City only managing a tough draw against Swansea.
Great win against Southampton! Wilshere must be performing pretty damn good! Keep the updates coming :P!

League Table
Le Fondre is enjoying a 9 game unbeaten run in the league which has seen 7 wins and 2 draws, Arsenal are sitting pretty 1st in the table with 7 games to play and 8-points ahead of 2nd placed Liverpool, However Le Fondre faces a struggle to keep the Gunners in the Champions League following a shock 3-1 defeat to Porto. Le Fondre has expressed his delight at stand out performances from Jack Wilshere, Laurent Koscielny and Theo Walcott.
Brilliant results there! Arsenal are bringing the league home!
Arsenal Decimate Porto
Arsenal enjoyed a historic 8-0 win this evening over FC Porto at the Estadio De Dragao
Adam Le Fondre has been praised by Gunners fans all around as his team only needed to score 3 goals to secure victory, No doubt Porto were unfortunate with Joao Moutinho banned, and the trio of Rolando, Nicolas Otamendi and Danilo due to injury left them with only reserves to play in defence. Le Fondre met with Portuguese media after the game to discuss the result.
Press: You come away with 5 goals more than necessary to see your through to the semi-finals. Is this a warning to all clubs still in the competition that you are not to be taken lightly and you intend to win this competition?
Le Fondre: Absolutely, We are here to win, We could become the first English club in history to complete a quadruple having already won the Capital One Cup, in the Semi-Final of the FA Cup and 8-points clear in the Premier League, It feels outstanding to be in such a position and the team wants to win every competition available.
FMScout Media provided a brief overview of the result including goalscorers, match stats, and Arsenal ratings provided by the officials in the game:
That is one way to win a game!

Arsenal Secure Premier Division
Chelsea 0 - 1 Arsenal
Arsenal fans were overjoyed today, as they lifted the English Premier Division and secured a double for the season with the Capital One Cup
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored what proved to be the decider in this closely contested clash, and picked up a Man of the Match award for his efforts in the game. Manager Adam Le Fondre and Chairman Peter Hill-Wood have declared their happiness at the teams performance over the season and are glad the team won the league with 3 games to spare. Peter Hill-Wood told the media he is glad the team won the competition so early and that they can now concentrate on the European Champions League 2nd Leg clash vs Valencia and the FA Cup Final vs Manchester City.
Having not won a trophy for over 9 years, Gunner fans allover are sure to be delighted the club has won two in one season and possibly more yet.
Olivier Giroud led the club to Premier Division glory scoring 24 goals so far en route to the title with Jack Wilshere making 14 assists also so far this season.
Adam Le Fondre had this to say;
This has to go down as the greatest day in my career, to win the English Premier League, it doesn't get much better than this and to do it away to rivals as big as Chelsea you can be sure fans and players alike will saviour it for years to come!
