Simon Cox has been great so far for me in my Nottingham Forest save. Glad he's doing the business for you, too.

August Review

Team
Starting the season, with a 2-0 loss against West Ham was not how i wanted to start, still, we picked ourselves up and thrashed Hull 4-0 and reminded them how cruel the Premier League can be. You know it's gonna be you're day when your centre back scores a hat-trick! The Capital one cup (why can't it still be the Carling cup, much easier to say and type!) game was a huge boost. I decided to play a whole host of youngsters as Barnsley were only a League 1 side, and the youngster performed brilliantly. Back to the Premier League, and the Chelsea game was a deep disappointment. We just didn't turn up and i guess we forgot the sheer talent we were facing.

Individuals
I have to say, Aaron Martin and Ashley Barnes have both impressed with their hat-tricks, so they will both receive my Star Man of the Month.

League
The month sees us 14th in the league, but after only 3 league games we can't complain too much. Currently ahead of Tottenham (16th) though!

Capital One Cup 3rd Round Draw

Bristol City vs Ipswich
Brighton vs Sunderland
Reading vs Leeds
Newcastle vs Arsenal
Accrington vs Derby
Cardiff vs Man City
Chelsea vs Leyton Orient
Swindon vs Doncaster
Norwich vs West Ham
Tottenham vs Hull
Wigan vs Watford
Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest
West Brom vs Leicester
Rochdale vs Southampton
Blackburn vs Aston Villa
Fulham vs West Ham
Great story, some good results too!
