Ginger Ninja, his tackles don't suggest that.
I love Scholes! I hope you can win the quadruple too, that would be awesome! Good luck.
The Special one: No, but his hair does.

10,000 views! Thanks for all the views and comments, it's brilliant to reach this milestone, but best ever on here since I started. Thanks to everyone, but most notably k1rups, who comments on every update regardless of what it is about or when I make it. k1rups has that special place in Moyes' heart, as does everyone who reads or comments. Thank you

Carrick Rejects Contract Offer
Manchester United have today confirmed that Michael Carrick has rejected their latest contract offer. Although Michael Carrick's contract doesn't end until the end of next season, along with the contracts of defenders Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand, David Moyes has declared in interest in securing the players for as long as possible before other teams get involved.
Michael Carrick has been a key player for the reds since joining the club from Tottenham Hotspur in 2006 for a reasonable fee of £14 million. The central midfielder is known for his exceptional passes, his first touch, and his work rate throughout the game. Since joining Manchester United, Carrick is yet to play less than 30 times a season, and is only four games away from that mark again even in early March.
This season, Carrick has featured 26 times, with 5 appearances coming off the bench. 14 of these games were in the Barclays Premier League, in which United are lining up to be Champions if there form continues. Although he is yet to score, Michael has 12 assists, leading to being named Player of the Match 4 times, receiving an average rating of 7.67.
The Englishman, who has so far played 27 times for his country, is currently receiving £55k per week, while valued at £11.5 million. Aged 31, it is suggested he will only have around a maximum of 5 years left in Manchester, or at a high standard team, with the likes of Tom Cleverley, Shinji Kagawa and Nick Powell all breaking through fighting for his position in the side.
It is rumoured Moyes offered Carrick up to £65k per week to retain his services, along with bonuses. However, Carrick's agent Ross Steele, who works with fellow United stars Vidic and Welbeck, would take a fee of no less than £72k per week with bonuses.
As Carrick still has a year left to play, both Carrick and Moyes are expected to reanalyze the possibilities next season, and try to decide on a contract then. However, is this an early side that Michael Carrick could be leaving Old Trafford soon?
Interesting development! Carrick always seems to perform a few years in to the game when he reaches the ages of 33/34 but its not the end of the world if you sell him as he brings in a decent transfer fee!
Toon: I'll play him a lot until the end of the season, see what he's like.
k1rups: I'm not sure about him, with others coming through. I'd have to get a good fee for him..

March 2013 Results
Everything is going well, and March is a good month. Fixtures are spread out, meaning fitness won't be an issue. However, Arsenal and Barcelona within 3 days of each other won't be great, but hopefully we can pick up a lot of points for the league this month.
Manchester United 1-1 Norwich City
Sunday 3rd March 2013 - Barclays Premier League - Old Trafford - Att. 74,436
United Starting XI - De Gea, Baines, Vidic, Ferdinand, Evans, Jones, Carrick, Fellaini, Kagawa, Rooney, Hernandez SUBS - Adan, Giggs, Buttner, Powell, Pereira, Daehli, Lewandowski

A draw isn't great, but it could still be a vital point. We always find it tough against Norwich, shown by our previous loss to them. Rooney had a great game, shown by his great goal, but Nemanja Vidic stole the show with an excellent display defensively, and when attacking, hitting the crossbar twice when coming up for corners.
FC Barcelona 1-1 Man. United (Utd win 2-1 on agg.)
Wednesday 6th March 2013 - UCL 1st Knockout Leg 2 - Nou Camp - Att. 99,394
United Starting XI - De Gea, Baines, Ferdinand, Vidic, Rafael, Jones, Giggs, Kagawa, Lewandowski, Rooney, Hernandez SUBS - Adan, Buttner, Carrick, Powell, Pereira, Scholes, Smalling

A great game for the boys. With the 1-0 win from the first leg, we won 2-1 overall, sending us through to the next round. Barcelona are one of the very best in the world, so we can definitely go on to win it. Hernandez scored a brilliant goal, running from the halfway line in a 3v1 situation. Vidic was again Man of the Match, having a brilliant start to the month. Roll on the next round!
Manchester United 2-0 Arsenal FC
Saturday 9th 2013 - FA Cup Sixth Round - Old Trafford - Att. 75,765
United Starting XI - De Gea, Buttner, Smalling, Evans, Rafael, Scholes, Carrick, Daehli, Rooney, Lewandowski, Hernandez SUBS - Adan, Giggs, Fellaini, Powell, Pereira, Jones, Ferdinand

A solid result to send us through, getting even closer to another trophy. De Gea did well to keep yet another clean sheet, while our strikers were on form again to get a safe win against a good team. Smalling was named Man of the Match which was great, and could be good to get him starting more, as he certainly can, but is being edged by Ferdinand and Vidic.
Manchester United 2-0 Wigan Athletic
Saturday 16th March 2013 - Barclays Premier League - Old Trafford - Att. 75,491
United Starting XI - De Gea, Baines, Jones, Vidic, Ferdinand, Fellaini, Carrick, Kagawa, Rooney, Lewandowski, Hernandez SUBS - Adan, Giggs, Buttner, Powell, Pereira, Rafael, Evans

The defense are certainly working it this month, keeping another clean sheet, and once again getting the Man of the Match award, this game going to Rio. Rio had a great game, as did both goalscorers Rooney and Hernandez. We managed to pick up 3 more points which will seriously put pressure on City if they want to catch up and take first place from us.
Southampton 0-1 Manchester United
Saturday 30th March 2013 - Barclays Premier League - St. Mary's Stadium - Att. 32,689
United Starting XI - De Gea, Baines, Ferdinand, Vidic, Rafael, Fellaini, Carrick, Kagawa, Lewandowski, Rooney, Hernandez SUBS - Adan, Giggs, Buttner, Powell, Pereira, Jones, Evans

Three more points in the league, with not long left, meaning we are getting closer and closer to the title. Once again the defense play brilliantly, with another clean sheet and Vidic picking up the man of the match award again. Rooney scored an unreal goal, smashing home a volley from Kagawa's cross, but surely has to be goal of the month in the league for March.
League Table
10 points ahead of City is great at this time, even if they have a game in hand. With just 7 games left to play. Although we have City, Arsenal and Liverpool to play, I feel this has been the month to help get us closer to winning the Barclays Premier League.
Player of the Month
Nemanja Vidic. How could Nemanja Vidic not win it. Being named Player of the Match three games out of five is pretty impressive, and it couldn't be ignored. Although Nemanja didn't score this month, which is actually unusual for him, even as a defender. However, this month he has led the team closer to the title, and hopefully will continue this next month.
NOTE: I am now using a new skin in my game, the Nuu Skin. As a result of this, some updates will look different, such as the league table, but the save hasn't changed in any way. Thanks to Akash for finding the skin for me to use.
Some great results there, pity about Norwich, but it's not like you're gonna lose top spot!

A great month of results, especially against Barca! Holding on to top spot and it's yours to lose now mate
