Okikos: Well then... ;)

k1rups: The Champions League is definitely needed now, especially against Chelsea.

Louis O.: Ouch! :P

edu1878: Thanks mate :)
It is brilliant so far, as usual. Definitely a contender for SotM this month. And I don't mean a contender for being nominated - I mean a contender for winning. If you aren't on the poll at least I'm suing the judges :))

United v Chelsea - UEFA Champions League Final - 25.05.13

And this is Manchester United's third cup final this year at Wembley Stadium, where they will try to add the UEFA Champions League to their collection, in a tough game against London side. Manchester United will make history with a win today, becoming the first English side to win the quadruple, and in just the first season under their new manager.

Manchester United had a solid last win to end an excellent Premier League win, after winning the FA Cup. To get here today, they've beaten the likes of Bayern Munich, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, who many called the three toughest teams in the competition. Meanwhile, Chelsea have beaten Manchester City and Arsenal, after an easy group stage. The recent game turning over a 3-0 result from Arsenal was something special, and can't be forgotten today.

45 min: Half time at Wembley Stadium, and the teams are equal at 1-1, a good game so far.

52 min: Robert Lewandowski runs through the defense of Chelsea, now it's just the keeper to beat, and Lewandowski places it through his legs! GOAL! The crowd go wild as the Red Devils take the lead once again. Can they hold on now? 2-1.

Post-Match Interview

Manager David Moyes spoke to Sky Sports News after the game, while celebrating his fourth trophy in one season as Manchester United boss.

"Behind the births of my children, tonight will be the best night of my life. The boys played differently, and they deserve this so much. I want to thank every single one of them for putting their heart into the club, and most importantly, I'd like to thank the fans. They are the reason the club keep going, and they have been brilliant this year. I may have worded some things wrong lately, but I want each and every fan to know I have so much respect for them, coming to every game, helping us as a club. Thank you. Oh, and we are WINNERS!"
Jesus. Can David Moyes do this well in real life? ;)
Great win and another great update. Can Moyesy do this in real life?
Glenn T: I bloody hope so! :P

edu1878: Thanks mate, and probably... no ;)
Tsk. Lucky bast*rd.
Champions of Europe! We know what we are.

Manchester United Win The Quadruple

Manchester United have made history by becoming the first English team to win the quadruple - winning the Capital One Cup, FA Cup, Barclays Premier League and UEFA Champions League all in the same season. It may have been David Moyes' first year in charge, but he certainly went all out to bring the trophies back to Manchester, something he failed to do in charge of Everton.

Manchester United started making the history at the end of February in the Capital One Cup. The Red Devils beat Everton, Tottenham, Newcastle, Manchester City and Burnley across six games to get their hands on the cup. The highlights have to include getting the late goal in the final to make the game go to extra time, in which they went on and scored another two, but the semi-final win against Manchester City won't be unforgotten either.

The success continued in the FA Cup. Swansea were knocked out at the hands of the reds, followed by Leicester, Huddersfield, and Arsenal. Peterborough were beaten in the semis, with David Moyes' interview angering some fans. He went on to beat Brighton 2-1, in which defender Rafael received a red card with 30 minutes to go. The win against Arsenal will be a memorable one, and overturning a 1-0 lead from Brighton will be remember Lewandowski will certainly remember.

The Premier League was next, with Manchester United winning the cup for a record 20th time. Winning the title with 4 games to go, Manchester United began to creep ahead of rivals Manchester City in December, and stayed in front from them on. They finished on 88 points, also receiving the highest goal difference, conceding just 20 goals throughout the whole campaign. The team will certainly remember lifting the title after beating Reading 4-2 at Old Trafford. Their 4-0 thrashing of Everton will be one for David Moyes to cherish for years to come.

And finally, to break the records, they went and won the UEFA Champions League after a brilliant run of results. They faced PSG in the groups, and managed to get through. Then Moyes' Boys had a spectacular run of form, first beating FC Barcelona, then Spanish giants Real Madrid, and then a side who only lost 5 games all season, falling for a Rooney hat-trick, FC Bayern Munich. The side then entertained many beating Chelsea in an all-English final at Wembley.

So all is good and well, but how does David Moyes beat this next year? Join Arsenal as the invincibles? Add the Community Shield and Club World Cup to their collection? Some a world great? Only time will tell, and that's if Moyes decides he will stay. But now that doesn't matter. This year Manchester United have done what no other English team have done, and for that, they deserve all the praise and success they get. The 2012/2013 season is their season!

Manchester United, quadruple winners!
The last sentence tells the story. Well done Kane!
He's won all he can. Moyes out.

What more can I say? Quadruple in the sack and placed in the safe! Hopefully I can do something like that at Arsenal.

Vidic: "Moyes Has Led Us Well"

Nemanja Vidic, who captained Manchester United to four different trophies this season, has praised David Moyes for his work throughout the season, saying David Moyes had led the team well and adapted to a new side brilliantly, shown in the results and success we have had as a club. Nemanja Vidic received the highest average rating, not just for Manchester United, but throughout the Barclays Premier League. He also picked up the English Player's Player of the Year Award last week.

Vidic spoke to Lewis Jones of BBC Sport, saying, "What David Moyes has done for the club is brilliant. Under Sir Alex, the club were bonded. We all got on, and we were very happy as a club. The news of Sir Alex's retirement shocked, and saddened many of us. However, when we heard about the appointment of David we were happy.

Now, one year on, he has shown us why we should be happy. He has lead us well, as a team, as a club. You can see how he has taken skills from Everton, and bought them here, while keeping Ferguson's attitude to the game within the club. David Moyes deserves all the praise he gets for the success this year. It's been a brilliant season. Not just the winning, but working with the staff, the new players, and Moyes. He's kept the club at a very high standard, and I hope he decides to accept that contract. Thanks boss.

David Moyes is expected to make an announcement by the weekend on what will happen regarding the contract offer, and Nemanja Vidic went on to say he has met personally with both David Moyes and Sir Alex Ferguson about the future of Moyes, seeing what could happen. He would not comment on the situation, but seemed happy with the outcome. On the other hand, Ferguson was seen leaving the Manchester hotel with a rather glum expression, possibly suggesting Manchester United will be looking for yet another manager.

Everton, Borussia Dortmund, Marseille and Liverpool all seem to be interested in the possibility of David Moyes, but will first have to wait for his announcement.
Vidic is an idiot!
I have commented so you can announce the club awards
This is a great story, should definitely be a sotm nominee! Well done with the quadruple!
