I would have kicked a boot at him ;)

edu: Thanks mate! He won't get much game time now that Lacazette and Benzia are fully fit along with Watt so maybe the loan is good for him!

2013-05-25 07:50#104755 Glenn T : I kinda expected Remi to flare up and say "I'm not happy with you, you little twat" because a calm "Look I am not that happy with you right now" doesn't really seem that angry to me. Just me? :P

Haha I couldnt be that angry at him it was my birthday in the game :p Hope he has a good season though at Evian.

Louis: I'm relieved I am not selling him because we both know he'll be quality :p

tbendis: Yeah I was surprised. He asked for a loan last season but I guess its better to send him out this season

Mickzter: Haha if it happens again with someone I will kick more than a boot ;P

Champions League Draw

We were back in the Champions League and I wanted us to make our mark. We had a lot to prove to the rest of Europe and I was excited to find out who we were going to be drawn against. As part of the 1st seed pot I knew we wouldn’t face too much of a struggle and I was right.

In my opinion we have got a pretty easy draw and I know the whole of Lyon would be happy with this. Now the objective, knowing whom we are going to play, is to finish top of the group and to do it in style.

The only other French team in the group stages are Saint-Etienne and they have to beat Liverpool and Valencia in order to qualify. Something I cant see them doing so it seems the French hopes in the most prestigious European club tournament lies on our shoulders.

You should be able to win that group if you beat Sporting.

Glenn: You can be the 1000th if it happens :p

Toon: Yeah I hope I can. I reckon we will be able to keep them at bay

League Table

Special Mention

A pretty much excellent month all round despite suffering our 2nd loss in the league in as many months. We are 1 point behind Nancy at the top but are at risk of being overtaken by teams below us. I am not too worried as our form has been encouraging. The game against P$G was a tough one to take, with them scoring in the 84th and 94th minute to snatch all 3 points. Despite that, we have smashed in a good number of goals and had a good start in the Champions League. Bring on October!
Very good month well done :)
really nice keep going mate :D
You lost against P$G? :P
Your results look solid and you look set to have a fine season ahead.
Good results, don't worry about the loss to PSG, I'm sure the team will bounce back :)
Beany: Thanks mate :)

Zogra: A shaky start last month made better by this month!

Glenn: I know! Horrible after I beat them every game last season! And it was so late in the game I was depressed after that loss

Jowo: Cheers mate hopefully this form carries on

Neal: Thanks man! I think we bounced back well against Marseille and Evian. Need to keep up the form going forward, especially in Europe! Thanks for reading :D
