Pre-season report

A decent pre-season performance wise. It was a little disappointing not to win any games but against Premier League opposition that is not really expected. We have our first competitive game next week against Colchester. Hopefully we can progress through the first round of the Capital one cup. Oh well it's only friendly games so we were just messing around a little bit. Lets hope for a good coming season.(Drinks large amount of Vodka)

First Game-First official FA warning

Vinnie Jones has been given an official warning by the FA after AFC's capital one cup 1st round tie against Colchester. The dons were beaten 2-0. However with the score at 0-0, AFC Wimbledon had a penalty claim. It was clearly not a penalty but new manager Vinnie Jones went mental. He was shouting and screaming at the fourth official who was petrified of the ex- Hollywwod actor. From that point onwards Colchester dominated the game and with the home advantage there was no stopping them. 2 quick fire goals handed them the win. The footage of Jones' touchline rant got 3 million views on youtube in a few days. After seeing the video, many people say he was lucky to get away with just a warning. He then continued his rage in the post match press conference. He unleashed all of his rage when a journalist told him that the replay shows it was never a penalty. The manager shouted at the reporter for about 2 minutes, insulting his appearance many times. " You were so ugly as a child that when you're mother dropped you off at school, she got a ticket for littering" shouted Vinnie. The reporter then left the room crying. Vinnie then responded by leaving the room himself.

Vinnie Jones spotted at England trial day

AFC Wimbledon manager Vinnie Jones has been seen at the England trial day. He was obviously trying to hide his identity because he was wearing a coat that went up to his chin. Along with dark glasses and a beanie hat. The Dons manager sort of blew his cover after unplugging all the cooking equipment at the stadium. He was believed to have been unhappy at the number of chips he recieved for £3. Despite his fast food antics, Vinnie has reportedly signed two of the players on show. They were Goalkeeper Mirko Ranieri and Striker Rory Boulding. Boulding impressed in the match by scoring a goal past Ranieri. The pair will not be first teamers at Kingsmeadow but will surely rack up some games. The former Tottneham 'keeper was signed on reputation. Vinnie will hope that they can contribute to the season.

Never serve Vinnie Jones an inferior amount of chips.

AFC Wimbledon announce final signings

AFC Wimbledon have announced 5 new signings that will play alongside new arrivals Rory Boulding and Mirko Ranieri. Two of these players are internationals so they definitely have some quality. One of those has two caps for Togo. His name is Yoann Folly. He plays in the center of the park but can also play the 'Makelele' role. The other is Suriname winger Sergio Zjler. The 25 year old has only gained one appearance for his country but is still a strong player in Jones' eyes. The pair have both come on free transfers. However it is likely that Zijler will miss the registration window and will have to wait until January to play his football. The club are proud of Yoann Folly and will surely be a first teamer.

The other three signings are Jim Ervin who was signed for £9K from Irish side Linfield is a right back who has one fantastic attribute about his game. That is his penalty taking ability and rumors say that he has never missed one. He is the only player that have cost AFC any money. The other two are loan signings, Sead Hajrovic from Arsenal and Stephen McLaughlin from Nottingham Forest. The Serbian Centre-back will not be playing in the first team however the Irish winger from Forest will be. AFC Wimbledon are very proud of their transfer business and hope they can have a successful campaign.
