Oooh! Anelka to West Brom! FM IS true! :D Good update btw.
FM is true! You can get better than Anelka, everybody knows that + his wages must be loads!
Anelka got PARRED! Very nice update!
@TV: Hahaha yes, it seems to be true.. I never did reveal that he left..

@Jack: Anelka is decent but he earns 32k p/w which I believe is all of my youth + reserve side together :P...

@Seni: Indeed he did. Never liked him tbh
What a team you're building there ! Logical that the results are not left behind..

Another story I'll be following in the future, I like your style man.

Nedved's View
After drawing Barcelona in the final minute away, it was tough, but we had achieved what few clubs in the world had done. But, we had another tough fixture at Turin and to add to that, we would either face Manchester United or Real Madrid if we went through. For Juventus, this year definitely has been tough, yet I still believe that the club has the ability to win and definitely has the ambition and determination to.
Real Madrid or Manchester United if you can beat Barcelona. A tough road ahead indeed.
Win the CL? You can do it dude, good luck! Also tough draw..

March: Serie A is Ours

Palermo 0 - 2 Juventus F.C.

Sunday 3rd March 2013 – Serie A TIM – Renzo Barbera - La Favorita, Palermo – Att. 24,803

Juventus starting XI (3-1-4-2) Buffon, Sakho, Chiellini, Bonucci, Pirlo, Marrone, Vidal, Marchisio, Lichsteiner, Cavani, Jovetic

Luca Marrone (16) and Edinson Cavani (39)

Subs Padoin and Pepe

Claudio Marchisio (8.8)

Already winning against them in any occasion, we knew that Palermo were a easy team to win, but we failed to communicate (mostly Jovetic and Cavani). However, some exquisite passes between Marchisio, Marrone and Asamoah lead to a goal where Marrone only had to tap the ball in. With Pirlo, Marrone and Marchisio absolutely dominating the midfield, we weren't finishing our chances, until Cavani woke up as a natural goalscorer he is and the game was put to an end. Three points in the bag and we got closer to the title.

Juventus F.C. 4 - 1 Bologna

Friday 8th March 2013 – Serie A TIM – Juventus Stadium, Turin – Att. 38,081

Juventus starting XI (3-1-4-2) Buffon, Sakho, Chiellini, Bonucci, Pirlo, Marchisio, Vidal, Padoin, Asamoah, Cavani, Jovetic

Mamadou Sakho (30,55) and Stevan Jovetic (35,83)

Subs Pogba, Marrone and Isla

Mamadou Sakho (8.8)

Bologna, a team that were under-performing all throughout the season were given the hard-task to play against us. Getting into the scoresheet relevantly quick, we never looked back, until we conceded thanks to our own player Gabbiadini (who is on loan on Bologna), but we recovered very quickly. With Jovetic and Sakho scoring a double that put the game where we deserved, on top.

Juventus F.C. 3 - 1 F.C. Barcelona

Tuesday 12th February 2013 – Champions League First Knockout Round Second Leg – Juventus Stadium, Turin – Att. 41,000

Juventus starting XI (3-1-4-2) Buffon, Sakho, Chiellini, Bonucci, Pogba, Marchisio, Vidal, Lichsteiner, Asamoah, Jovetic, Cavani

Stevan Jovetic (22,53) Edinson Cavani (39)

Subs Bertolacci, Pirlo and Pepe

Stevan Jovetic (8.8)

After losing our lead to Barcelona in the dying seconds on the match on their home turf, it was time for revenge. Even though Jovetic and Cavani didn't have the best relationship with Jovetic, but for the sake of the team, they produced a fine performance. Scoring twice before the half-time (like the match at Camp Nou) I spoke to the team to not let their heads drop and definitely not let their guard down. What I asked for them is to hold their two goal lead, and they did that, by scoring another goal quickly in the second half, before Rafinha scored another goal against us (scored the last minute goal against us at Camp Nou). We were going to face either Manchester United or Real Madrid in the Quarter-Finals and the team looked up for the title. Nothing was going to stop them.

Siena 0 - 1 Juventus F.C.

Sunday 17th March 2013 – Serie A TIM – Artemio Franchi - Montepaschi Arena, Siena – Att. 14,563

Juventus starting XI (3-1-4-2) Buffon, Sakho, Bonucci, Chiellini, Pirlo, Vidal, Marchisio, Isla, Asamoah, Jovetic, Cavani

Kwadwo Asamoah (40)

Subs Marrone, Pogba and Bertolacci

Edinson Cavani (9.9)

As we had qualified to the Quarter Finals of the Champions League, we continued our stride to the Serie A, just a few points and the title was ours. However, Siena made it hard for us, with their 4-3-2-1 tactic, which would shut down Isla and Asamoah. But, Asamoah is unstoppable if he makes a run, and he took the only goal of the game, as he capitalized on a Paponi mistake.

Atalanta 1 - 3 Juventus F.C.

Saturday 30th March 2013 – Serie A TIM – Atleti Azurri D'Italia, Atalanta – Att. 22,617

Juventus starting XI (3-1-4-2) Buffon, Bonucci, Chiellini, Sakho, Bertolacci, Vidal, Marchisio, Asamoah, Isla, Jovetic, Cavani

Edinson Cavani (73) and Kwadwo Asamoah (33)

Subs None

Edinson Cavani (9.4)

If we won this match, we would secure the Serie A 9 games before the season ended and with Asamoah scoring another goal, I was impressed and to be frank, excited. Even though it was away, a lot of our fans were into the match, expecting us to grab all of the three points, and celebrate at the Atleti Azurri D'Italia. But, Marco Rossi would put our celebrations in doubt, as he scored a poor goal, as Buffon didn't run out to catch the cross. Though, Cavani, our new summer signing scored our second goal, and the third was an own goal by Daniele Capelli, which would secure our Serie A title. My first season at Juventus was completed by a double, and at least unbeaten until now. Marvelous.

Player of the Month

The player of the month is none other than our re-juvenated striker, Edinson Cavani, who scored some impressive goals. He scored against teams like Atalanta and Barcelona who were not handing us the game like other teams normally do.
Fantastic result against Barca, and some equally pleasing performances versus Atalanta, Bologna and Palermo. Great work on the title and hopefully you can win the champions league along with that :D
Not being picky, but Palermo played Palermo? On another note, great results to take you to the title, and I hope you can continue on to win the UCL.
nice results this month ! and CL will be a hard but yet no impossible road to CL glory !
Palermo 0-2 Palermo :))
@Walter: Hahaha thanks, I violated them! Yeah, we've had some good matches, but we needed to get more clinical, where Cavani and Jovetic want to score goals themselves.

@Edu: It did happen ;)! I hope to win the CL too!

@Red Devil: CL will be hard, but it's achievable!

@Neal: IKR? :P
