September: The Form Continues
Juventus F.C. 2 - 0 Chievo Verona
Saturday 15th September 2012 – Serie A TIM – Juventus Stadium, Turin – Att. 38,773
Juventus starting XI (3-1-4-2) Buffon, Sakho, Chiellini, Bonucci, Pogba, Marchisio, Vidal, Asamoah, Lichsteiner, Vucinic, Cavani
Mirko Vucinic (15) and Andrea Bertolacci (87)
Subs Bertolacci and Giovinco
Giorgio Chiellini (7.4)
With Gigi back on his feet and Chiellini backing up on our defense, we had a defense that was pretty much impenetrable. However, without our midfield maestro, Andrea Pirlo in the pitch, we could have some issues distributing the ball.. At least, that's what most of the fans and pundits believed. However, we continued our 100% run against Catania, thanks to a goal from Vucinic and Bertolacci, who completed the super-sub role. Ever since his move to Juventus Stadium, he has done everything to impress, and looks like a decent player to replace Marchisio, if he ever wants to leave.
Juventus F.C. 4 - 0 SC Braga
Tuesday 18th September 2012 – Uefa Champions League Group Stages – Juventus Stadium, Turin – Att. 40,237
Juventus starting XI (3-1-4-2) Buffon, Sakho, Chiellini, Bonucci, Pirlo, Marrone, Bertolacci, Asamoah, Lichsteiner, Vucinic, Cavani
Mirko Vucinic (4) Edinson Cavani (7) Leonardo Bonucci (14) and Edinson Cavani (22)
Subs Marchisio, Pepe and Pogba
Mirko Vucinic (9.3)
With the nervousness of appearing at the first European competition in years, I decided to give both our strings in the midfield a rest, as I believed that both Marrone and Bertolacci could handle the pressure. If what I proposed didn't work, we would have Andrea Pirlo on the back, defending and passing the ball. Mirko Vucinic had his best match in the Juventus shirt. He assisted and scored goals himself. Cavani grabbed himself a brace, while Vucinic and Bonucci grabbed one for themselves. It was an easy match, as we bossed around the midfield of Braga, who could not contain the 6 man midfield we fielded.
Cagliari 2 - 2 Juventus F.C.
Sunday 23rd September 2012 – Serie A TIM – Is Arenas, Quartu Sant'Elena – Att. 14,683
Juventus starting XI (3-1-4-2) Buffon, Sakho, Chiellini, Bonucci, Pirlo, Marchisio, Vidal, Asamoah, Lichsteiner, Vucinic, Cavani
Edinson Cavani (15) and Edinson Cavani (85)
Subs Bertolacci, Padoin and Pogba
Stephan Lichsteiner
Edinson Cavani (8.8)
This time, I decided to give Marrone and Bertolacci a rest, and fielded Marchisio and Vidal, a strong partnership, on the heart of the midfield. However, they failed horribly, only having Cavani leading the match. Further dissapointment for the manager, as Stephan Lichsteiner earned himself an early bath after committing a vicious foul on a Cagliari player. Late on the game, I thought with Cavani's screamer goal scored in the last ten minutes of the game, we would take the three points home, but after a late corner, Albin Ekdal, for the Sardini let them grab a point for themselves.
Juventus F.C. 3 - 0 Roma
Wednesday 26th September 2012 – Serie A TIM – Juventus Stadium, Turin – Att. 39,483
Juventus starting XI (3-1-4-2) Buffon, Sakho, Chiellini, Bonucci, Pirlo, Marchisio, Vidal, Asamoah, Pepe, Vucinic, Cavani
Edinson Cavani (1) and Arturo Vidal (72) Federico Peluso (89)
Subs Peluso, Padoin and Isla
Arturo Vidal
Leonardo Bonucci (8.2)
With the recent news that Lichsteiner was handed a further 2 match ban, we had to look for either Padoin, Isla or Pepe. I decided to go for Pepe, who played a crucial part in last season's success. Now, facing our capital rivals, Roma, I wanted to thrash them and embarrass them. An early goal from Cavani, opened the scoring and a heroic save from Gigi Buffon to their captain, Francesco Totti, in a penalty kick. The two late goals in the second half, let us win the match 3-0 at home, against our rivals.
Genoa C.F.C. 0 - 1 Juventus F.C.
Sunday 30th September 2012 – Serie A TIM – Luigi Ferraris, Genoa – Att. 28,909
Juventus starting XI (3-1-4-2) Buffon, Bonucci, Chiellini, Peluso, Pirlo, Bertolacci, Marchisio, Asamoah, Isla, Vucinic, Cavani
Andrea Bertolacci (28)
Subs Pogba, Marrone and Magnusson
Andrea Bertolacci (7.9)
Our last match of the month was against a side that was doing admirably in the league. 10th place for a team like Genoa, was fantastic. With Isla, Bertolacci and Peluso on, I decided that Cavani could add some goals to his tally but he didn't. It was Bertolacci, who scored the only goal of the game with a nice thumping effort, something that Frey could not reach.
Player of the Month
The player of the month is none other than Cavani, who scored 5 goals in as much appearances. He saved us from dropping an extra point against Cagliari, who were one of the hardest team to beat. I believe, that this season, he can top over 30 league goals, if he is not interrupted by injuries or suspensions.Player of a Worthy Mention
Andrea Bertolacci, has picked up a player of the match, and most importantly two amazing goals in 5 appearances, in which three, he came on. A fantastic purchase, and he will become a great midfielder, if he isn't already one.
Edi is tearing up Serie A!

And I'm glad my recommendation Bertolacci is doing well for you

Bertolacci is a quality player good buy! Cavani looks scary in that picture haha but a great month and I'm sure top spot will be yours!
@Arvind: I am betting my money on him :P. I'd recommend Bertolacci to anyone now!
@K1rups: He was an excellent buy and an excellent player. I am still puzzled on how Napoli are scoring more goals than me without Cavani. :S

October: Halloween can't stop us
Feyenoord Rotterdam 0 - 4 Juventus F.C.
Wednesday 3rd October 2012 – Uefa Champions League Group Stages – De Kuip, Rotterdam – Att. 51,137
Juventus starting XI (3-1-4-2) Buffon, Sakho, Chiellini, Peluso, Pirlo, Marchisio, Vidal, Asamoah, Lichsteiner, Vucinic, Quagliarella
Mirko Vucinic (14) Fabio Quagliarella (29) Arturo Vidal (36,41)
Subs Bertolacci, Pogba and Marrone
Arturo Vidal (8.9)
I decided to give Cavani a rest, after he had participated in 6 consecutive matches. Fabio Quagliarella, did not disappoint. He scored the second goal of the game and he was a joy to watch and he assisted Vidal with the penalty. A great win for us at Rotterdam, who complicated things at Munich for Bayern, who narrowly beat them 3-2 on the first fixture.
Juventus F.C. 2 - 1 AC Milan
Saturday 20th October 2012 – Serie A TIM – Juventus Stadium, Turin – Att. 37,640
Juventus starting XI (3-1-4-2) Buffon, Bonucci, Chiellini, Peluso, Pirlo, Vidal, Marchisio, Asamoah, Isla, Vucinic, Cavani
Edinson Cavani (63) Claudio Marchisio (66)
Subs Caceres, Marrone and Bertolacci
Federico Peluso
Arturo Vidal
Claudio Marchisio (8.5)
A harsh match against our bitter rivals, Milan, who were struggling for form. An early red card for Peluso complicated us, and following the foul by Zapata inside the penalty area, Vidal stepped up and Abbiati threw himself to the correct side. Trailing, Isla got the ball back from a too much relaxed defense and when Cavani had the ball, you know where the ball will end. Soon enough, Marchisio scored with a fantastic long effort. A win at home against our bitterest rivals, it was great.
Juventus F.C. 2 - 0 Bayern Münich F.C.
Wednesday 24th October 2012 – UEFA Champions League Group Stages – Juventus Stadium, Turin – Att. 41,000
Juventus starting XI (3-1-4-2) Buffon, Sakho, Chiellini, Bonucci, Pirlo, Marchisio, Vidal, Asamoah, Lichsteiner, Vucinic, Cavani
Mirko Vucinic (5)
Manuel Neuer
Javi Martinez (8.5)
Perhaps the best team of the competition, I knew that if we beat this team, our title chances would boost loads. So, with a little bit of motivation, we could do it. I ran up the pitch Mourinho style when Vucinic headed the ball and after some possesion time, Pirlo curled a free kick, unfortunately hitting Manuel Neuer's back, counting as an own goal. This match was definitely ours. One player who was definitely Pirlo's influence in the game was Javi Martinez, but it didn't matter, as we won at home, to the recent Champion League finalists.
Juventus F.C. 4 - 1 Palermo
Wednesday 26th September 2012 – Serie A TIM – Juventus Stadium, Turin – Att. 39,483
Juventus starting XI (3-1-4-2) Buffon, Sakho, Chiellini, Bonucci, Pirlo, Marchisio, Vidal, Asamoah, Lichsteiner, Vucinic, Cavani
Leonardo Bonucci (6) Mirko Vucinic (59, 77) and Arturo Vidal (86)
Subs Marrone, Padoin and Isla
Mirko Vucinic (9.0)
Our last match of the month was against high flying Palermo a side that was doing pretty well in the league. I picked a strong side, as we would have the international break, so I thought Cavani could end his goal drought, who was not performing like he did last month. However, Mirko Vucinic is still performing and scored a brace, that aided us to another victory.
Player of the Month
The player of the month is none other than Vucinic, who scored 4 goals in 5 appearances and also scored to the German giants, Bayern early on.Player of a Worthy Mention
Leonardo Bonucci, has picked up a player of the match, and most importantly defended well in all of his matches that he has featured so far. Perhaps to become one of the best defenders in the world, I have no plans of selling him.
Brilliant results over Milan and Bayern, the league title and Champions League will be your's
