Villa Smash More Teams To Fly Up The Table
Aston Villa manager Sir Alex Ferguson today said his team had become men with a unbeaten streak now consisting twelve matches. 'The lads have been brilliant this month and last month but the difference this month is that we have been able to hold on to and build on leads'. The remarkable upturn in the Villans form is down to moving Will Hughes to attacking midfield and Giovanni Dos Santos out to the wing.
Eugene Konplyanka and Andriy Yarmelenko are important cogs in this attacking line up too. Elliott Bennett, Mattheus and Andre Ayew have also impressed. Bennett who wasn't sure when Manager Ferguson moved him to a more unfamiliar role of Centre Midfield but has excelled and Ferguson is very complimentary of the Telford born player. 'Elliott was bought on the cheap' said Sir Alex, 'but he has bought something totally different and I think deserves a place in the England squad.'
