Our final fixtures weren't particularly great, but we were able to rack up 11 points out of our last 5 games and made it impossible for Bristol City to catch us.
We finished 1st, 10 points clear, scored the most and achieved the highest goal difference.
We won 33 matches, held 11 to a draw and only lost 2.
We also achieved some pretty nice results in both FA Cup and Johnstone's Paint Trophy. Reaching FA Cup 5th round and Johnstone's semi final. I do feel that we should have won Johnstone's though. Unfortunately for us, Wolves were a hard team to beat this season.
Darren Ferguson picked up npower League 1 manager of the year.
Player of the Year
Michael Bostwick
Michael Bostwick was an absolute rock in defence this season. Picking up npower's League 1 player of the year. Featuring in npower's League 1 team of the year and achieving Posh fans player of the year.
He'll definitely be sticking around for a while! Nice one Bostie!
