Paddy that CL final update is absolutely amazing! You've come a long way since your Nantes story! Tough luck losing it but against Neymar, Cavani and Messi you're facing a tough ask! Nice little addition with the other countries trophy wins!

ARSENAL ANNOUNCE RECORD KIT DEAL

Arsenal has revealed its kit for the upcoming 2013/14 season in what will be the biggest kit deal in Premier League history.

Puma will offer approximately £30 million per season throughout their four year deal.

The sports brand giants have teamed up with in demand kit creating genius Justice from FMScout.com and the kit has gone down well with the North London fan base.

Arsenal also revealed its sponsor of Italian super car makers Ferrari, the first time they have ever been on a football shirt.
Great kits! :)

THE SQUAD

So this is it. After a season of highs and lows, we stand tallest as Premier League and Capital One cup champions. We played the best football in the league, scored the most goals and shut up the critics. We made history. But we won’t settle here. Oh no! Our football is established and we are out to make further history. From here on in Arsenal will be the name on everybody’s lips as we knock off everyone from their perch. We are ready to be let off the leash and rule the globe. We don’t want to make history… We want to be history.

The Pioneers

Thomas Vermaelen

Our leader. This man is the signal in our play and the commandment of which we abide by. An impressive season with an average rating of 7.85, Vermaelen is fundamental.

Mikel Arteta

The king of artistry is at the heartbeat of the club. The complete all-rounder with his head firmly on his shoulders, his composure means the world to us.

Bacary Sagna

When you think of top quality right backs, Bacary is right up there. Still got that fire in his eyes, bags of experience and quality to boot.

Per Mertesacker

The unorthodox Gunner. Perhaps the player with the least technical ability I have ever seen yet so important to how we work. The Big Friendly Giant has that no nonsense attitude any team will accept with the ability to chip in with a few goals.

Santi Cazorla

Simply Outstanding. Santi Cazorla is the difference in class from Arsenal and all other clubs in the league. First touch, composure, goals, skill, range of passing, there’s only two men ahead of him and that’s the world’s best Xavi and Andres Iniesta. A Real gem.

The British Core

Jack Wilshere

Mr Arsenal. Jack is our identity in every sense from passion to sheer technical prowess. A future captain in my eyes and highly likely of becoming one of the world’s leading players and of England’s entire history.

Aaron Ramsey

Aaron Ramsey is an absolute work horse. He doesn’t hit the headlines but he knows exactly how much we appreciate him. This man leaves everything on the field and goes home with nothing but pride. Something I salute him for after such a horrendous injury. His future remains firmly with us.

Theo Walcott

The Talisman. I do not know one single player capable of keeping up with him and we have some of the fastest players around. The goals and assists will come thick and fast for this guy, making him indispensable to Arsenal

Kieran Gibbs

The flavour. This guy is Mr Cool and can easily outdo Ashley Cole as one of Arsenal's and England’s best left backs. Just watch him.

Carl Jenkinson

This boy has nothing but pride to show. A passionate guy with immense love for his boyhood club, can be one of the greats for both club and country.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

The Ox. He’s a player of a generation and one of the hottest talents on earth right now. His versatility will take him places.

The Future

Raheem Sterling

This guys speed and dribbling is vicious and I’ll be interested to see who will be the man who can contain him with ease in a few years’ time.

Thomas Eisfeld

The New Rosicky. Idolises Rosicky, plays like Rosicky. Thomas will be a straight fit for when Rosicky’s days are over. An impressive loan move to Nurnberg saw him play 39 times and score six.

Serge Gnabry

The New Mesut Ozil. Now this will be a player. Had lots of action for Arsenal this season at 17 years old and also had a decent loan spell at Reading with one league goal and eight assists in 12 games.

Benik Afobe

The fact Swansea come calling for this man at the start of the season says it all for me. This guy has fascinating similarities to that of a certain Sylvain Wiltord and amassed 15 goals in 31 games.

Chuba Akpom

16 years of age and already way ahead of his game. The half Nigerian England Under 19’s star is ripping the Under 18’s and Reserve league at just 16! 17 goals in 13 games. Watch this space.

Thierry Henry

The King. One of the greatest ever to grace the football pitch is now set to become the best and most coveted managers on the planet. There’s no place like home.

And how do I know this is going to happen you ask? You don’t need to know that. All you need to know is that…

Great update! The descriptors were a nice touch :)

LAURENT KOSCIELNY BAGS GONG

Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny has been announced as the Arsenal Fans’ Player of the Year.

Koscielny fought off contenders such as Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla to win the award for the first time after coming second last year to former Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie.

The Frenchman played 37 times last season, scoring 8 goals and earning a rating of 7.86.

Arsenal also announced their favourite XI of the year, including the likes of Wilfried Bony, Theo Walcott and Mikel Arteta

Some great updates here mate! What an unlucky defeat against Barca: that goal missed by Giroud claims vengeance for next year! :/ I am sure you can win that next season... Keep it up! :)

GUNNERS ON ASIAN TOUR

Arsenal has announced the dates of their upcoming 2013 Asia Tour this summer.

The Gunners will travel to China, Malaysia and Indonesia for pre-season ahead of the 2013/14 season.

Amongst Arsenal’s opponents will be Chongqing FC, Shandong and Jiangsu throughout the month of July.

Thierry Henry’s team has a huge following in South East Asia and will treat their loyal fans with visits to various cities across the three countries for training.
Interesting best eleven there, especially your formation.
