On of most important match both for Dinamo and Rijeka this season will be played on Maksimir, while both team in heavy need of points. Rijeka is now 4 points away from Dinamo while Dinamo is trying to catch Hajduk who are 7 points in front of them with only eight league matches being played till end of season. Dinamo and Hajduk will meet twice more time in league and once in cup. Istra will host Hajduk tomorow.

Dave: I belive we have what it takes to beat Hajduk but we will need to give best what we can us a team. It is also very important to be focused and not distracted whole match which is of course hard but that is what is needed to lift trophy's.
Dave: We just do not have space for him on pitch right now but he has future in Dinamo and i told him that.

Dave: I hear people talk that Hajduk was better and had more chances with which i do not fully agree, key point was that we were concetrated till the end which i think was most important, we know and trained, we talked that situation like that will probably occur and we were ready, we reacted, we stayed focus and did what we hoped we could do... and we did. I am proud of every player on pitch.. i know it was hard, especially on Poljud where you seen how much their players had support from stands... So what to say, i am very happy and we are looking toward next match also here on Poljud so we know that it will be hard once more. Also i am not happy how we reacted in several situations on field and i will talk with players about it so i hope that we could provide better next game, simply because we must. So, no relaxing, we go straight to see what was good, what was bad and than back to training and hopefully win on Saturday. Thanks also to all supporters coming and helping players to do what we all wanned.

Alex shocked Hajduk in last minutes and given hope to Dinamo that they can win league. Next match Hajduk again Poljud awaits Dinamo in semi finals and again it is expected for stadium to be completly full.
Vukas: We were better but did not have luck but i belive in my team and i am focus on my players... we need to continue to play like we did and Diaz can dream with his mind games... it will not work, we are ready for cup and league and i can tell Diaz, he had luck, he was very lucky.
Dave: I do not have too much too say on Vukas comments... i already sayed all and what i sayed has happened. About dreams, i do not dream, i live in reality Vukas and your Hajduk will eat that thing on the end.. hard shit to swallow mate.
ESPN: Fernandes and Petar Pamić will miss next match, how much they are important?
Dave: A lot... i will need maybe change whole sistem of play but i am prepared.. but they will miss a lot for sure. It is hard for me to say who will take their places because i am still thinking, but there should be no too much worry... players started to belive in themself and that is what is most important.
Who ever belive's that we cannot win leauge and cup is wrong... motivation in team is high and we are not afraid of Hajduk, also hearing that Dave is not good coach for Dinamo is not true, he is giving all for Dinamo and is doing good job with managing situations on every aspect us with players.

I will not congratulate Hajduk because it is impossible, it is so obvious we were robed by Marić and its best for him that he never see me in my life. I also want HNL to give him suspension.
The biggest attention between Hajduk and Dinamo was captured by referee Bruno Maric's successor after failing to secure a clean penalty for Dinamo in 11 minutes after Mladenovic made clear foul on Pjaca. Dave Diaz attacked on all possible ways Marić after the game. He said also how that changed decision changed game and how it was hard to get players in right mind set. He also attacked Vukas and said he would have felt that the match had been set up by people from Hajduk. He also asked the HNL to remove Vukas from the referee duty.
Day after that Bruno Marić was caught on camera in club where he was
sang the Hajduk hymn. HNL investigating one of best referee and peoples are asking what is going on with him. Dinamo fans are not happy at all with Marić and also looking for justice even tho they are not happy with match being lost after Valquez was sent off in 54 minute.
Dave Diaz said after that how this is clear proof how that there is Croatian football underground which wants to destroy Dinamo and how behind this is also peoples who wants to destroy Mamić.
"I am just asking myself how far this can go, how we can lift trophy's in this kind of situation in Croatian football.. i feel terrible and how should my players feel?".
I congratulate to Dinamo U19 players and Cvitanović on great job, this is confirmation how great young players for future we have and would like to say to Dinamo board and Zdravko Mamić on great job which they did and doing in Dinamo. I hope this will give boost to seniors because i know we can take title and get revenge after this what has happened on Poljud. We need to keep our heads up and give all we can, there is no more space for failures.
