GNK Dinamo have only themselves to blame after somehow failing to get anything out of this game against a side that finished the match with only nine men. Dinamo succumbed to a 2-1 loss at the hands of an opposition depleted by ill-discipline and injury and some questions will have to be asked as to why Dinamo couldn't capitalise on their numerical advantage.
Things did not get off to a good start for Chelsea as midfielder Sammir seized on an error by Frank Lampard to score a finish tucked away with consummate ease. Nomadic striker Demba Ba then equalised for Chelsea in the 29th minute with a close range header.
Despite being down to ten men, wonderkid Romelu Lukaku clinched a late winner on 80 minutes with a tame effort from close to goal. Lukaku's impact delighted the fans with his late goal.
Chelsea's Terry was forced off by injury in the 89th minute. Chelsea's Demba Ba was back in the dressing room after earning himself a second yellow card in the 92nd minute.
