Even though the month has not long started, Torino FC has today announced the last three signings that they plan to make in this transfer window. Although they have come out and said that there are no plans for any more transfers, that doesn’t mean it won’t happen. Joining the club today are former Manchester United starlet Davide Petrucci, Free agent Antonio Grippi and Damiano Ferronetti from Serie A club Udinese.


20 year old Davide Petrucci joins the club from Manchester United, arriving for an estimated fee of around 350 thousand pounds. Petrucci joined Manchester United from Roma in 2008, although he never went on to make a first team appearance for the famous red side of Manchester. At only 20 years of age, Petrucci has time ahead of him in the game.

17 year old Italian left back Antonio Grippi has joined il toro from the free agency market, due to him not being contracted to a club for about 6 months or so after leaving his previous club Palermo, where he failed to make an appearance


Damiano Ferronetti, the last announced signing of the current transfer window for i granata has joined the club on a 650 thousand pound transfer from Udinese, the club where he only managed to make 41 first team appearances in 4 seasons. The 27 year old Italian left back has never been capped for his full national team, but did make 5 under 21 appearances.

Some great signings, especially Petrucci, hopefully they can fire you to Serie A! Nice update too

Torino fc have today announced the pre contract transfer agreement to sign Norwegian left winger Simen standerholen from Fredrikstad fotballklubb on a free transfer when his current contract expires on the first of January 2012. The young left winger is seen as a good prospect in Norwegian football, and on a free deal is seen by many as a good bit of transfer business completed by Torino manager Vincenzo Grella. Standerholen had this to say about his agreed transfer to il toro “ When I heard that Torino were interested in me I was both shocked and amazed, and then when they offered me a contract I was in seventh heaven, I just couldn’t believe my luck. Even though I can’t wait to join up with the Torino side, a part of me doesn’t want to leave Fredrikstad. I just want to thank the club and everyone involved, for taking the chance with me and then being so good about me leaving to join Torino."
