Gutted for you that you didn't win the Champions League...is the plan to just stick with Bayern for the long term? Or do you have unfinished business with the German powerhouse?

Guardiola signs New 5-Year Deal at Bayern

Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has signed a new 5-Year contract with the German giants. The news comes days after they lost the Champions League final at Wembley. The Spaniard was under contract until the end of next season but the board at Bayern like what they see and have offered Guardiola a contract extension.

“I am delighted to have singed on again at Munich” said Pep. “I have enjoyed my first year here a lot and I am looking forward to having many more. I have been promised a lot of money to spend in the transfer market but some big names will also leave. I want to be a part of the history of the club and I want to win the league next season”.

“We have a good team at the moment and we should have done a lot better in the league last year. We are ready to get over the heartbreak that happened in the Champions League final and go all the way next year. With some big names coming into the club I hope we can dominate all competitions next season”.

Many fans are delighted to have Guardiola sign a new deal but no one is happier than the board who issued this statement earlier.

“We are delighted to have Pep for an extra 5 years. He is a great coach and will make this club great again. We know the fans are happy too and that is also a good thing. We are prepared to give Pep some spending money to make sure we can win league next year as that is the top of our priorities”.
Good to know you'll be staying at Bayern :)
Hello Wellsy, whilst you've been gone I've replaced Guardiola and been to the Allianz :P The picture in your avatar could be much better if Guardiola was replaced by me and TSo/Jozef :P

Bayern Munich Splash The Cash On Welsh Wizard

Bayern Munich have completed the signing of Gareth Bale for a fee believed to be just under £50M. The German club have been in talks with Bale for a long time and it was no surprise that he chose to join Bayern.

Gareth has had a great year at Spurs and it was reported that Real Madrid and Man United were after the Welshman to boost their squads for the new season.

The deal was struck earlier on today and the club announced the signings to the press earlier and Gareth told the German media that he was delighted to be playing at Bayern.

“It is an honour for me to be here. I want to reach the top and I have a great opportunity here to do so. This is a very strong team and if they can reach the Champions League final 3 times out of the last 4 competitions then that is a great achievement”.

“I had been speaking to Pep for a long time and he told me he has big plans for the club and that he wants to dominate world football. He feels I can play a part in making this happen and also I hope I can make myself a better footballer”.

“There are a few English lads here like Alex and Will and I have seen how well they have done in their first year here as Pep likes to use his younger players to make sure they have a lot of experience. I know I need to work hard to make sure I start every game and I know I have to compete with top players like Ribery and Robben but I know if I work hard I can be a success here”.

Manager Pep Guardiola also heaped praise on his new signing by calling him ‘the best player to come out of England for years’.

“He is a top player. He will reach the very top one day and I want to help him succeed in doing so. If you look at the top players to come out of England in the past 10 years all I can think of is Scholes and Bale. He will be a top player for this club”.

Many fans are also excited over the signing of Bale and the club have already sold around 5000 shirts with his name and number on the back.
WOW! NICE! Under 50M too!

How much exactly? :P
