Previously managing non-league sides such as Edgware Town FC, now defunct, Hendon FC and recently acquiring my coaching badges that would allow me to manage a professional side this would be a huge climb up. Arsenal FC is a club I love too bits, I've been a fan since I was a little boy, this would really be a dream come true.

Recently I've been watching Arsenal play and I've admired the desire from Wenger and the lads playing. So why are they asking me to take over from them? The club is doing very well, currently lying second in the league just one point behind United. The pressure on me would be unbearable. A rookie like me, going to replace a legend like Arséne, was my agent Ryan, who is a Spurs fan himself playing games with me?


We're the car on the way to the training ground,Ryan's driving. Once we get to the training ground I'll sign the contract, everything has already been agreed. Due to my young age, I'll be paid 500 p/w a good deal for me. Its much better than just getting 50 quid once a month! London Colney, based in St Albans is an amazing training ground, somewhere I've driven past a few times. The fact that'll I'll be coaching players everyday there is simply astonishing.

As the car started to slow down, I became a bit edgy. I could see the Arsenal players training, and I could make out Arséne Wenger. What on earth is going on?

Me:Er...Ryan...the lads are over there where are we going?

Ryan: Lads? Seni you're not managing them are you crazy? You're in charge of the ladies mate, I sent you a text telling you that.

Me: What?! When?! Let me check my phone then.......oh Ryan...you must have sent it to my blackberry, I sold that phone!

Ryan: Unlucky, you've got yourself a good job here, don't turn it down now Seni...besides you get a chance to work with the ladies everyday!

Me: You have a point Ryan...maybe this could work out, maybe it I will actually enjoy this, sorry for snapping at you Ryan.

Ryan: Nah its ok lets go sign the contract, tomorrow training starts for you!




Well, I've now signed a one year deal, depending on how I do, it may be extended and I may get a pay rise. I will be earning 500 p/w. So here it is, I'm now the manager of Arsenal Ladies, replacing Shelley Kerr and I've been told we've got a friendly against the U18's tomorrow, against the men's u18...is that even allowed?
