Thanks mate. The younger team is really good tbh I normally play Gustavo and Pizzaro just to add some experience but it has a solid core and it will be a fantastic team for years to come :P

Exclusive: Guardiola Interview

Great another interview. I like to speak my mind but no to just one person. I like to announce it to the world and I want to show the world how I feel. It was okay though it was for the world media and I wanted to show the world I am still a good coach.

I:Hello there Pep. It is great to see you. How has your first 6 months been at Bayern?
P:Thank you. It has been a lot of fun at Bayern and I am enjoying building a team that is capable of winning lots of trophies.

I:How has your policy of youth affected the team?
P:Well the team has reacted well. It has given the team a bit more energy and it has helped some of the older players also. I feel all of my signings have a future here and it is about giving them an opportunity to develop into world class players here.

I:How does Bayern differ from the job at Barcelona?
P:Well Barcelona is a club that is in my heart. I was very sad to leave and it was a big family there. Here at Bayern it is still a family but Barcelona has that something special but I have been made very welcome here and it means a lot to me.

I:So you miss Barcelona
P:Who wouldn’t? It was a great experience for me and I loved all of the players and I treated them like my own children. I feel that is not at Bayern yet but it will come overtime.

I:Whould you ever go back and manage at Barcelona?
P:Well at the moment I am happy here. I feel I would like to manage in England first but I would always be open to a return to Barcelona. I have a special connection with the club so it would be a great joy to me if I went back there.

I:You are trailing Dortmund by a big points margin, do you feel you can catch them up?
P:Yes I do. We have better players than them it is just we have made silly mistakes that have cost us points. If we don’t win the league then I will try and win the Champions League and that would be a great occasion for me and the club.

I:Finally, are you looking forward to the future with Bayern?
P:Yes I am. We have a great squad and I feel we can be very successful. I am prepared to sacrifice things to make sure this club wins trophies.

Not really as he is my back up. Gomez is my starter and Bony is 2nd choice. Also Pizzaro will get some games due to him leaving :P
I am really glad you have found the right team and the right story to stick to. You are almost at 5000 views, but it is never too late to wish some luck :)
Looking good, Wellsy!

Also im amazed at how well this story has been supported even tho it has been on for 6 days. I am glad that people are enjoying it and that they are following :P

Mandzukic Signs For Madrid

Real Madrid have completed the signing of Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic from Bayern Munich. The forward joins for a fee of £6M and this is the end for his 6 month stay in Munich. The striker was unhappy at Bayern so manager Pep Guardiola was willing to let the player go for a low fee.

Bayern rejected a bid of £11M from Dortmund but felt it was a bad deal for the club as he would be leaving to join their main Bundesliga rivals. The club then decided that they would have to lower the asking price if they wanted to offload the troublesome striker.

”It is a great pleasure to play for a top team”, said Mandzukic. “It means a lot that Madrid were interested and that I was able to sign. We all knew I had no future at Bayern and I am sad it did not work out but I have to move on”.

“I promise that I will work hard and that I will play to my best ability and try and force myself into the team. I feel I have a chance and I feel this is the right move for me”

Mario Mandzukic was recently axed from the international team after his antics at Bayern but he hopes that he can force a way back into the national frame.

“It was tough for me to take. I feel I did not deserve to not be selected but it was out of my hands. I want to perform well and make sure I can get back into the team and try and grab myself a place on the plane to Brazil”.

Madrid now have 3 recognised strikers in Benzema, Higuain and now Mandzukic and many pundits are saying that Mandzukic will hardly get a game at Madrid.

Bayern fans are happy to see him go but club officials are upset that they lost around £6M on transfer fees for the striker.
£6m is a great deal for Real Madrid it must be said. If you are anything like Pep in real life tactics wise, Mandzukic would never be a comfortable fit. Just a thought, with Madrid having 3 top strikers, a move for Higuain wouldn't be bad would it? Keep it up :)

Why is Gomez your starter over Mandžukić. That's what I don't understand. They are a similar type of player, but Mandžukić is younger, and... probably... better...

Ah well, still an excellent deal for Madrid. I agree with Paddy though. Perhaps chasing Higuain...

A good idea to sell him IMO. No point keeping a striker you don't want! £6m is hardly a huge amount of cash but not bad for a unwanted player! Keep up the in-depth updates I really enjoy them :)
