I think you're allowed 3 players over 23 lol thats how it was for me anyway
Sorry!! I thought it was 2 but as soon as I posted it I realised it was 3!!
Dude is it just me or are you ignoring Man Utd youngsters such as Chris Smalling and Phil JOnes? And I think you should get Rio Ferdinand and Michael Owen. The former is very good until the 3rd season and the latter should be skilled enough for the England squad, he can score tons of goals with the right midfield.
In midfield you, if you are playing competitive games, you migh want to take out Stewart Downing, Aaron Lenon and either Beckham or Rodwell. In your early seasons I reccomend that you don't use Rodwell as his stats aren't really good yet but will improve later on, you should put on Willshire, Cleverley and Sturridge to support the attack.
There's lots of good english players... Shawcross being one and later on Henderson is fantastic, i use him in my england squad and he was integral to my road to the World Cup Finals, i reached the final with England losing to France after 2 red cards in the semi's but the FA were still happy

SI use Shawcross but Henderson? His stats in my game is that of a semi-skilled winger that can't run fast. Every time I play Henderson he fails to deliver crosses, the best thing he can do is be create one-twos for other players.

Thanks for the advice, but I just think Chris Smalling and Phil Jones are too young and Rio Ferdinand is injured ahead of the Euros

England defeated Ireland with ease as they went to the top of the Group B table. The only downside to the game was that John Terry fractured his arm late on and will miss the rest of the tournament. A replacement can't be called up and manager John Smith said that Phil Jagielka will fill Terry's boots.

England carried themselves through to the final with a 3-1 win over France. It is the first time England have got to the Final of the Euros and they will be playing Spain.
I suggest you play a midfield with a strong deffensive ability and a reasonable passing skill. If you've got Spain's midfield blocked the only trouble you'll be facing are from corner kicks. All of Spain's strikers have a 60-70/100 rating in pace and speed so they can't really out run your deffenders unless your deffenders are very slow.
