Enjoying the story so far mate. To me, choosing to take on Arsenal too could well be exactly what will do you some good. In my eyes, England and Arsenal are similar in the sense that, both have a lot of class but seem to under achieve. If you manage a world cup win with England....who knows what the future may hold with Arsenal?
Anyone in particular lined up for your budget?
Thanks. I will show you how I am doing with Arsenal soon as I am nearly up to January. I think I can do big things with them too!!!
England Lucky To Draw
15 Nov 2014
Ecuador 1-1 England

Welbeck

England were lucky to get a draw against a well-improved Ecuador side in a friendly. Only a 86th minute equaliser from Everton striker Danny Welbeck could save them from breaking their now 43-game unbeaten streak. England's chances weren't helped with clubs making sure the likes of Wayne Rooney, Leighton Baines and Jack Rodwell could only play 45 minutes of the game. England will play USA in 5 days and will hope to beat USA, who are ranked 43rd in the world compared to Mexico who are ranked 13th.

England Stay Unbeaten
England 3-0 Sweden
Rooney
Ekdal
Isaksson
Sturridge
Line Up: (4-3-3) Joe Hart, Kyle Walker, Ryan Shawcross, John Terry, Leighton Baines, Scott Parker, Jordan Henderson, Jack Rodwell, Theo Walcott, Wayne Rooney, Darren Bent
England maintained their 100% record in the World Cup with a 3-0 victory over Sweden. They struggled to find the net in the first 85 minutes but Wayne Rooney put them in the lead at the start of the second half. But everything changed after Ekdal's sending off in the 86th minute and scored 2 more goals. They have been drawn Senegal in the Round of 16 but unfortunately Jordan Henderson will be unable to play that match after picking up 2 yellow cards in the Group Stages.
Once again isaksson show everyone that he's just trash, If sweden could play without him they would rise from a bad worldrating to 2th rank.
England Squeeze Past USA

England just managed to beat USA in a fiery match at the Rose Bowl. England's 3 strikers led the way with each of them getting a goal. Arsenal and England boss John Smith has been moving into a younger squad in the last few months, replacing players past their best, like Frank Lampard and John Terry, with young exciting players, like Chris Smalling and Ross Barkley. England's next match is against Austria in Group E of Euro 2016 Qualifying.
Arsenal Half-Season Review
1.2.2015
So far this season Arsenal have done pretty well. This review will divide this down into the different competitions and how they are doing in them.
Premier League
League Table
So as you can see, Arsenal are 4 points clear at the top of the league after 23 games. Man United, Man City and Tottenham are close behind while from Liverpool onwards are way off the pace. Here are the top goalscorers:
A surprise player on the list is Ryan Shawcross who has scored 8 goals already this season while playing as centre-back. Theo Walcott is also only 5 goals off the top despite being injured for around 5 weeks with various injuries. Tottenham's Steven Jovetic has been on fire with 19 goals in his 23 games played.
F.A Cup
Third Round
Arsenal 1-0 Middlesbrough
Fourth Round
Tottenham 2-0 Arsenal
Arsenal did not however do as well in the F.A Cup. They tried out some younger players in this competition but were still expected to do better than they did. The Arsenal fans do realise that they did not have the luck of the draw though.
League Cup
Third Round
Arsenal 3-0 Accrington Stanley
Fourth Round
Arsenal 6-0 Cardiff
Quarter-Final
Sunderland 2-3 Arsenal (AET)
Semi-Final First Leg
Newcastle 2-4 Arsenal
Semi-Final Second Leg
Arsenal 2-0 Newcastle
The League Cup has gone really well so far for Arsenal. They eased through the first few rounds before they narrowly beat Sunderland after extra-time. They then eased past Newcastle in both legs in the semi-finals and will now pay Everton in the final.
Final
Arsenal vs Everton
Champions League
Group H
Arsenal eased through the Group Stages of the Champions League as they won every match in an easy group. They have now drawn Olympique Lyonnais in the First Knockout Round.

Thanks. I am trying to create a young team that will last for at least another 5 to 10 years. That does unfortunately mean getting rid of the likes of Lampard, Gerrard, Terry, Cole and Johnson.

Yeh. Whenever I don't have any ideas for a new save I always go back to this one. I am hoping to carry this on until FM13 comes out.
England Scrape Past Rivals
11.02.12
Holland 1-2 England
Smalling
De Jong
Cork
Jones
http://i1065.photobucket.com/albums/u392/jamstoe/EnglandvsNetherlandsLine-Up.png
England scraped past second in the world Holland as they won their bid to remaine No.1 in the world. Phil Jones was the star of the show, winning everything in the air. Smith had chosen to field a squad of youngsters for the match and it seemed to have worked. Both teams left it late to score with substitute Chris Smalling scoring in the 78th minute before Siem De Jong pulling one back in the 82nd minute and finally other super-sub Jack Cork hitting the winner in the 85th minute. It was also a proud day for Joe Lewis, who won his first cap for the England team, and Jack Cork, who scored his first goal for the England team after only 2 caps. England's next game is against Austria in their 3rd game of their 2016 European Championship Qualifying campaign.
Great win against the Dutch! I hope you can continue on in similar fashion.

A loss was hard to take for Arsenal as they lost on penalties to a lucky Everton side. Arsenal took the lead before Everton fought back to take the lead. It was only a 35-yard curling free-kick by Emiliano Insua that could draw Arsenal back level. It stayed that way until penalties came:

This is Everton's first piece of silverware since their FA Cup win 20 years ago, so this will mean a lot to Everton fans.
England Remain Top of Group

http://i1065.photobucket.com/albums/u392/jamstoe/AustriavsEnglandLine-Ups.png
England stayed top of Group E and maintained an 100% record with a 4-1 thrashing of Austria. Arsenal star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was star of the show with 2 goals. England never looked like losing the match and were on top from the first to the last minute. It was also a proud day for Jay Rodriguez, who won his first cap for his country and also scored his first ever England goal in the dying seconds of the match. England's next match is in 3 months against rivals Wales.
