End of 2014/2015

So, 2015 started and we don't have much to go. We are still leading the table, and still at the FA Cup and JPT. Final 4 months:

FA Cup: We had a very good run until the 4th round, where we met Swansea. We lost a honorable 3-0 and went to seek our fortune elsewhere.

JPT: In the JPT we had a very good run. We got to the south Final against League 1's Crystal Palace. After a 1-0 away loss and 1-1 draw at home, we were out. Again, we went to seek our fortune elsewhere.

npower League 2: Here we found our fortune. We were dominating throughout the season, and although we were shit at the end, we still were crowned champions with 92 points.

Final league table:

And a little award for me:

To be honest, I really don't have the passion I used to have with Wood anymore, and I'm considering retiring.

New Season, New Signings

We are going to have a very tough season in the npower League 1 this year, so we need to bring in some new recruitment. We already defeated couple of League 1 teams last year, but we do need to get stronger.

Overall very good signings for the team. All of them were free transfers of-course.
The captain will be new signing Andrew(wwwwwwwwwwwwwwww).
Wood are also happy to present the new kits for 2015/2016:

Preseason and August update

Another season comes, and this time we are in the npower League 1. My goal is as always, to display good football and achieve good results. My assistant did a couple of friendlies to get the team started.

Friendlies:

Boreham Wood 1 - 1 Reading
Cesarini

Farnborough 0 - 2 Boreham Wood
Cesarini
Cubillas

Woking 1 - 0 Boreham Wood

Boreham Wood 1 - 3 Watford
Isaac

Boreham Wood 3 - 2 Alcorcon
Jayden Stockley
Imed Bouzazi x2

Overall, decent preseason. The tie with Reading was very good, but the lose to BSS side Woking was aweful. But again.. Assistant.

Capital One Cup 1st round:

Boreham Wood 4 - 0 Peterborough
Cesarini x2
Pinhero
Testardi

npower League 1:

Barnsley 1 - 4 Boreham Wood
Cesarini x3
Imed Bouzazi

Boreham Wood 4 - 4 Bournemouth
Cesarini
Testardi
own goal x2

Southend 1 - 3 Boreham Wood
Cubillas
Imed Bouzazi x2

Rochdale 2 - 1 Boreham Wood
Sabah

Capital One Cup 2nd round:

Middlesbrough 2 - 4 Boreham Wood
Cesarini
Testardi x2
own goal

Overall, very good performance. The new players are fitting in fast, and we are scoring a lot. Need to improve defence though.

JPT South 1st round:

Boreham Wood 2 - 0 AFC Wimbledon
Cubillas x2

npower League 1:

Boreham Wood 5 - 2 Walsall
Cesarini x2
Testardi x2
Vunguidica

Boreham Wood 5 - 2 Crawly
Cesarini x3
Lovric
Bouzazi

Scunthorpe 0 - 0 Boreham Wood

Notts Co 2 - 0 Boreham Wood

Boreham Wood 1 - 0 Dag & Red
Andrew Tutte

Boreham Wood 2 - 0 Swindon
Cesarini
Vunguidica

Aldershot 1 - 3 Boreham Wood
Cubillas x2
Lewis Horner

Capital One Cup 3rd round:

Boreham Wood 1 - 2 Watford
Pinhero

The lose against Watford was amazing. If a Premier League team needs luck and extra time to beat us, it means we are on the right road.
In the JPT we are still moving forward, and aiming to even win it this year.
In the npower League 1 we had some amazing results, as expected, including two amazing 5-2!
League table:

2nd at the moment but there's still a long season.
