Great story so far. The graphics are really nice and the story quality on the whole is fabulous. Asryan and Doria are just pure quality and having them at Crystal Palace almost guarantees that a promotion will come soon! :D

Vinnie's Competitive Debut

It's Vinnie Jones 1st competitive match as Crystal Palace manager, a Capital One Cup match against League Two side, Northampton, brought to you live by Sky Sports.

Crystal Palace vs Northampton

VS

Formation:

Match Report:

72 min (Crystal Palace): Giuseppe Mascara with the ball sends a glorious cross-field pass to the right for Haruna Babangida, Babangida collects the ball and surged the ball easily to go past Widdowson. Babangida shoots from a tight angle! Goaaaal!!! What a great goal on his debut from Haruna Babangida!

Final Score:

Crystal Palace 1 - 0 Nothampton

Vinnie's Verdict:

With a win in the bag, I am surely pleased. Although the fans will surely hoped for more goals, but it was a great performance. Northampton didn't even managed to come up with any shots let alone test our goalkeeper. Probably the forwards could have done better with the chances, but hey, we are through to the next round!

Transfer Deadline Day Update

Crystal Palace have signed playmaker, Bryan Rabello, from Sevilla.

The 18 years old Chilean signing surprised many quarters as Rabello have just recently signed for Sevilla. The deal cost Crystal Palace a reported figure of €800k with 550k to be paid across the next 48 months. Rabello put pen to paper on a 5 year deal worth €9.5k/week.

The attacking midfielder is seen by many as a creative player with a bright future ahead of him adding to the number of promising youngsters in the Crystal Palace's ranks. Rabello can also play on both wings, a trait which convinced coach Vinnie Jones to sign him up.

Speaking on the signing, Vinnie Jones said:

"Rabello will add quality and depth to our current squad. He is a hugely talented and versatile player. The €800k deal was a steal to be honest, he will worth a lot more in the future. This also mark the end of our dealings in this transfer window, so expect no further signings."
Rabello looks a good player, I hope he does well :)

League Table

*P/S: My bad. I was too pre-occupied and went to far ahead in the game and totally forgot to cap a screenshot of the league table by the end of August. But I do remember that we were 2nd behind Wolves on goal differences :P

NPower Championship Goal of The Month

Wilfried Zaha vs Leeds

*The goal was actually better than it looks in the replay which start recording too late and I can't find a way to fix that :/

Crystal Palace Player of the Month &
NPower Championship Young Player of The Month

Wilfried Zaha:
The forward scored 3 goals and created another 2 in 3 appearances. One of those being a stunning Maradona-esque dribble and shoot goal. Always a threat running with the ball with his blistering pace and mazy dribbling. Brilliant!

Vinnie's Verdict

A great month overall. Our overall play was really good and we scored loads of goals. The players looked settle although there are quite a number of new faces. 9 points out of the possible 9 in the league and through to the next round of Capital One Cup. But early days still.

Crystal Palace Player of the Month

David Goodwillie
Bagged 5 goals and a couple of assists in 5 appearances. He is leading the line well for us in the Advance Forward position.

Vinnie's Verdict

2 win, 2 draws and 2 losses in 6 matches. The loss to Arsenal was not surprising but I would have like it if we defended better. The team seems to be starting to show the effect of the squad revamp that we had in the transfer window. Defending seems to be where our problems lies at the moment.
